i love foxes, you are awesome, very inspirational, there is no reason to hunt foxes, they are rather harmless, i would rather kill a human that a fox, living here in the Mojave grey foxes are my favorite, when i see a picture of someone who hunted a fox, i just want to kill them, make them see what it is like to be trapped, or shot with a bullet the size off their palm

@KreatchusProductins California, has Grey foxes, they will live in wooded areas, desert canyons, washes, and open desert, pretty much every where in the southwest united states, i am going on a camping trip and i bought some powerful binoculars, to looi for them. i love foxes

I'm one of those "assholes". Foxes are over populated around my area and have attacked humans due to rabies. Rabies is a disease that plagues overpopulated fox populations. I have called 23 foxes this last winter and there are plenty more where those came from. I don't deny she is definately a cute little bugger. Good job rescuing an animal in need. I hope she made it. I don't like to see animals suffer, that's why I hate the rabies.

Thanks for all the great comments. Both foxes have been successfully rehabbed and they are back in the wild. Lets pray that no assholes hurt them with trapping or hunting. There's no reason to hurt foxes.

I've seen people that have foxes as pets, and I wouldn't mind one. I would love one, just don't know if I'd have the patience, or time for one. So, most likely, I will never have one. More harm done if I can't deal with them.

As a wildlife rehabilitator you should know the important role that hunters and trappers play in the health of wild populations of animals. Prey species must be controlled in order to keep their habitat in check without having problems. With predatory animals, when they become too crowded, it only breeds diseases like rabies, parvovirus, distemper, and mange. I do hope that your rehabbed foxes were safe upon their release, but its unfair to call hunters and trappers assholes

I wish I could find someone to trap an 8 month old Gray Fox that has been shot in one of his front legs. I know he will die over the winter. He will never be able to walk on that leg again. The bone is sticking right out and it's all mangled. He was my favorite pup too! I've been watching two families of them all summer and fall. Now the damn hunters are out there. And shooting close to our building too.
