Lucky Foot only effects pills, and Gold trasure chests btw. Lucky foot means you never get a stat down pill, and treasure chests are more likely to drop Upgrades. (the actual quality of the upgrade is still random... as is any other case of the item)

I just found out some things about the four horsemen and the cube of meat.

1. A cube of meat drop always happens after a four horsemen fight.

2. They replace the main boss more often with the book of revelations equipped.

Mom's pill bottle works really well in conjucture with the phd and the battery, phd makes sure you only take good pill and the battery reacharges your infinite supply of pills, basicly resulting in a lot of helpful pills.

With Mom, ironically, the best strategy I've found is not to move too much, NL. You do need to change your contrast settings so you can actually see the shadows and dark rocks though, that's most likely your problem. But yeah, Mom's foot? Don't move too much, unless the shadow or enemies force you to. All mom's bits can be shot to hurt her. Go get her!

I think the problem with Meat Boy is that once he locks onto enemies, he stays on their ass no matter what. Since he usually locks onto Mom's foot first due to it being the first thing onscreen, he just stands there being useless until her (apparently) delicious cankle appears again so he can gnaw on it.

I had a double laser setup once, with robo-baby and I was daring enemies to cross me. If you get that, you'll feel unstoppable.

bottle of pills could be usefull to cain if you're lucky because one pill gives you an extra heart and if you have a phd or are lucky enough you will get that pill pretty often. since real hearts can be re-filled and you can make some nice deals with the devil. But again, it's about luck and a risky choice.

Hey North, seeing as you love the book of revelations, you'll love even more the item you'll get after beating mom's heart for the 3rd time, The Nail. You can buy it for 2 hearts at the Devil Room. Turns you into a demon, turning you black and big for the room, boosts by a huge amount your damages, reduces your movement speed by one.

And most importantly, gives you 2 spiritual hearts... That doesn't disapear when you exit the room! Best part? It has the same cooldown than the book!

I think you could be using the the Arcade a lot more efficently. Mostly I clear the rest of the rooms first, including the boss room. Blow up the shell game, donate any spare hearts on the level, blow up the blood donation machine and the spend as much money as i feel i can afford on the slot machine, bomb it. It can be pretty rewarding, damage bonus and a few shield flyes is not uncommen in my experience.

Cain is kinda a gamble to take on, the outcome with him is either the best or the worst, depends on what things you get by the lucky foot. I remember I had the strongest combination of power ups items and health with him ans I beated mom for the first time with him, however last night I hadt to deal with the enemies of the depths with only two heart, no space item, and the lowest range I could have, so I died.

A couple of more hints from me

1) The battery charges up 3 squares per room, but if you use the item, it will reset the counter, so it is possible to fill up 6 squares per room if you are very patient. And oh, the charging is time based, not kill/movement based

2) There are no item rooms or shops in the womb, so try using most of your money before you get there

3) As I said before, the poop on your head is called Skatole, and it makes all flies friendly

4) Spinning items also damage enemies

You always get good items when you play Cain. When I play him the game gives me crap and increases the difficulty to boot. I actually get better luck with Judas. After watching each time when you play I go "hey maybe i'll try him out again." *dies in caves* I beat the game with him once, but after that run it's hated me since.

Hm, Choco Milk, Technology, Mom's Contacts (Freeze shots if that's possible with Tech), Battery, Pentagram (dmg +3 increase), Book of Rev. etc. :D then you can always go back, watch it here and feel good if you've had a crappy run.

Also, not going through all the rooms before the boss is a waste. I mean, you had to do it anyway.

As is blowing up every slot machine you come by. I mean, you died with what, 65 coins? Where would you use that much money even if you did defeat Mom?

Aside from bombs, keys and money you can get fly items from the slot machines. Like the flies hovering around you. That take hits for you.

@CaptainAustraliaFTW @werewolfgirl1995 The 'Fly Love' item makes every kind of fly (except the ones who shoot out bullets in 4 directions when you kill them) passive. It will turn flashing fly's into regular ones, grandfather flies won't shoot anymore, and they will all fly towards your head and kinda bump into it, without doing damage. This way you can shoot them without any risk of taking damage. Double flies (the flashing ones that are attached to each other) WILL still attack you.
