If I were running Apple, I would milk the Macintosh for all it's worth--and get busy on the next great thing. The PC wars are over. Done. Microsoft won a long time ago." --Steve Jobs, 1996
Well they did work together. The only one who's bitter is Jobs because he got kicked out of his own compay. Arguably had that not happened then Microsoft may not have been so profitable.
Microsoft would have been profitable despite of Jobs gettin kicked or not. The very reason being Microsoft filled a gaping hole in the rising PC technology: user-friendly software.
And "arguably" Jobs gettin kicked was the best thing to happen to Apple since he retunred thereafter & took Apple to new heights. Had he stayed he would arguably have led to downfall of Apple with his self-destructive ways. He returned as a smart man.
It's interesting they wonder what it will be like 10 years from now (end of part 10). Perhaps they should think about what Al Gore and most scientists say what we should do to prevent a major global climate catastrophe: Prevent further climate change. So instead of putting their philanthropy money towards humanitarian efforts that foster further overpopulation (which makes the main problem worse!), they should do more environmental philanthropy.
this is simply rather sad that these two person can no longer work again !

Only computer that meets that standard? Then in 1985, came the Amiga. *sigh* I so miss the Amiga as a choice of a competitive product.
