R4i dual core card: how to upgrade to new firmware 1.4.3

I did exactly like the vid said and NOTHING appears on my screen now. I tried formatting the micro sd card and installing everything and nothing. Anyone with tips?

hello... i have the same dual-core card, i tried inserting it to my DSi ver 1.4.3 but i'm stucked on a black loading screen, and then tried inserting it to another DSi with ver 1.0J and i still get have the black loading screen... can you help me? thanks...

Thanks! This took me forever to get to work. Your video showed me some things I was having trouble with. I thought I didn't need the kernal after upgrade but wasn't sure. Then I had trouble downloading the 1.30. But today I was able to get it and that was what my problem has been.

Does anyone have the 1.43 firmware already downloaded that they upload somewhere else? The "Official" website doesn't have the download active anymore, and I can't find any other place to download the 1.43 (or greater) firmware upgrade for the Dual Core.

i have tried this 3 times and it has not work . After i complete tried everything i put the r4 in my dsi and click it to start and a black screen comes up saying there was an error power down.

For everyone else, DONT GET DUAL CORE, The site is a scam and it doesn't work for anyone. People say it works because they're part of it too. Just get Acekard or Imm or something. It might cost the extra buck but its completely worth it. I telling all of you as a fellow gamer.

@twilightshadow: I had the same problem. I used the 142 upgrade, but followed her tutorial. You have to have the supported firmware. I ran the update, then put the 1.3 kernal on right after. Loaded right up when I went to run that. From there you should be good.

no, i don't think so. Once you updated/upgraded your DSi or DSi XL console to new firmware, could not down-grade back to the previous version.
