I've played this game a lot of times and yet I always forget that the Archfiends only come one at a time. Imagine if you had to fight them all at once--I wonder if anybody could survive that onslaught...I know I wouldn't! :)

I'd say about 50+ I was slightly below and had a lo of trouble in this fight, Scarmiglione is healed by Cure spells.

BTW this joke was made when Square was still independant of Enix, about a decade before they joined actually, back when the main series was good.

You fight them in sequence btw, it's the same sequence every time, so you'll eventually know which spells you shoulduse andwhen, Barbariccia's weakness is Holy.

Ugh, I reallly hated how in FFIX Holy only worked on enemies whose levels were multiples of 4. I'm like "are you serious?" You wouldn't believe that in that game Eiko was my best character, after she got Auto-Regen she would NEVER die in battle. The enemy would use his strongest attack and kill everybody except Eiko. I remember that on disc 4, the first boss battle took me about 20 something tries. But in the end Eiko won it for me.

Oh he should be, but in this fight he isn't, I learned this playing Final Fantasy IV Advance.

I think Fire spells still affect him, I think the order gos Scarmiglione, Rubicante, Cagnazzo and Barbariccia.

oh no, that ain't right. Especially when you already, supposedly "killed" him, now he's immune to healing spells? Well, I'll be glad to fight them all again, I want to make sure I never see them again.

Oh, good job Final Fantasy IV DS, for finally teaching everyone how to say "Zemus" correctly.

Everyone but myself seemed to pronounce it "Zeh-Miss". I thought I was obvious that it was "Zee-Miss"...

And when I saw people pronounced Rydia "Ride-ee-uh" I just facepalmed.

Rydia as "Ride-ee-uh", huh? That reminds me of how my friends pronounce Ryu from Street Fighter, they say "Rai-yoo" and I'm like "who are you talking about?" "Rai-yoo from Street Fighter". "Oh. Well, it's 'Ree-yoo" "Oh. You know, Rai-yoo is like one of the best characters...". smh

That goes the same for me as well. I learned to be at max strangth before entering a new area and SAVE EARLY, SAVE OFTEN. You never know when you might have a tough situation and need to back track to level up more--or having to save before the boss so you will not have to start a long ways off if/ when you die.
