How in the world you got a hummer to put her nest there or why she decided to put it there will ever mystify me. Did you find it somewhere else and put it there?

I am so amazed! You did an awesome job filming that and doing so in a way that did not make the mother abandon her eggs and later her chicks was just very admirable. To have to use the simple things you did, duck tape I assume and a mirror, you got amazingly good footage that a scientist would be proud of if having to use such equipment. Don't let any naysayers discourage you. Not harming the bird or it's young would have been my first requirement and you avoided that admirably.
