  • Roonarb has a spike! That's what she said!

  • Rubber bands :) haha

  • I love it! In effect, it is a very professionally produced and cleverly designed 'flicker book'. Make one yourself! Get a wad of paper leaves (a blank book) and draw in the corner of each page. The next page is always slightly different to the last. When you flick through the book, the pictures form a movie. It is fun. What a clever idea to use the method (at least in appearance) to produce such a wonderful work of art.

  • noo all te bubble gum has been farted away

  • Is it just me - or was most of the telly we watched as kids (if you're now between 40 and 50 years old) completely trippy (Magic Roundabout, Dr Who, Roobarb and Custard etc)? No wonder we all got into Es and raving when we hit our 20s!

  • This & Mr Men feature fantastic Narration & technically, but inspired, animation...no characterless cgi or merchandising to the ninth degree real one man job true D.I.Y. & totally inspired...

  • Look, the vocals( that most quintessential of English voice overs by Richard Briers), the music (just listen, Johnny Dankworth and co), the look ( green and purple pre dates punk) is one of the most important things known to man kind. One of the most important memories of my youth.

    Total!!

  • @BillMinworth I agree with you, and I wanted _so_ much to believe that it really was Johnny Dankworth playing the music!

Sadly it is the slightly more overlooked Johnny Hawksworth. Oh, well!
