@randomstake17 IN the back of the case, it tell you if is multiplayer local or over the internet, but, if the game is just local, you can use the PS3 to make the local into worldwide multiplayer, this game is online multiplayer without the PS3

@randomstake17 if on thne box it says ad-hoc that means in the room, if it says infrastructure that means over the world. Ad - hoc does noot require internet. Infrastructure does.
