excellent guys!!! I'm from holland and the best people I met are from korea japan canada and scotland and I'm not joking. Made me even go to korea twice, wish I ran into you there. Keep it up!!!
maan this is so nice.. I want to do this on Iraq i wonder if some1's gonna hug me?!.. start to know one another even if ur not on the same race.. cuz i the end we are all gonna be one means. in the end of the world we will all be together and we will live in one country.. its true..
lolz, cause they chose the wrong place.. most people do free hugs in myeong dong... cause its like ... youthfull n hip area~ lot of older people went past, not many teens/young adults.
This was surprisingly, very moving for me. Thanks so much. As a foreigner with many years behind me living in Korea, and with two bi-racial Korean/Caucasion children, I love it even more.
You rock! I wish I were younger and crazier... I'm tempted to do the same.

rape seems to be a national game of South Korea.I believe it happen in many places in the rest of the world. Korea is only one of the country that revealed it, willingly.
I'm part of a fanclub called Asteria and we're currently planning a free hugs campaign on Korea on 2009. Right now, there's about 15 girls from all over the world who're planning on it. :)
I've been in Korea enough to know they probably went through 1,000 KOREANS to get 1 hug. Foreigners are more likely to do it as well as younger Koreans that may be familiar with this campaign.
I recognize that stage area!
Oddly enough, Korean men slow dance together. Weird!
Foreigners aren't common in Korea. In the US, foreigners, even terrorists, live right next to you. You say hi to them and brightens up their day, no matter who they are. In Korea, as well as many other countries, foreigners are looked as FOREIGNERS if you know what I'm saying. btw, I am a democrat but if I were to choose a republican, I'd go for ronpaul, why 2016 and not 2012?
Because I think Ron Paul is 80% great but 20% insane... and most Ron Paul supporters get on my nerves because they are white nationalists, 9/11 truthers, anarchists, and other crazies.
Foreigners are all over Seoul and a lot of Pakistanis are in factories all over the country.
But Korea's nationalist xenobhobic views puts the USA to shame. I don't like left-wing liberals one bit, but standard "center" democrats are reasonable people.
There ARE foreigners in Korea. But not as much as the US. In my school, asians are at least 30%. There is nothing like that in Korea right now as far as I know. Every country has foreigners but there is a huge difference between the number of foreigner between the US and other countries. It's different story for sure. I must be insane but I'm coming to a conclusion that the government nowadays in the US is corrupt cuz you see presidents do what public wants wether it is good or not. idk..guess.
Actually the most corrupt nations in the world are all in Asia. :D That's a fact.
And the President is only but one man. He's just a whipping boy to a media that is stupid. I miss Korea's news!!! They show families being told their loved ones are dead in apartment fires and everything... it is powerful and certainly not as bland and PC as U.S. news.
Don't forget who makes the laws: Congress. They get a free pass too often (Democrats and Republicans, of course).
I like politics but when it goes deep inside, I understand nothing. xD I admit corrupt nations are common in Asia. But I'm sure almost every country is corrupt. You can't deny US still has many biased information. Not as strong as asian nations because there are so many foreigners that may get pissed off. It all depends on number of foreigners I guess. That's why racism and bias (stuff like that) will exist forever as long as there are at least 2 countries.
The only time I ever got hugged by a Korean when I was in Seoul. I was in an elevator and some drunk Ajjushi said something in Korean and gave me a hug. So the point is, try to hug them when they're leaving the bar.
This is awesome. :)
