Personally the whole Terminators with emotion was one of the things that ruined TTSCC for me -- it's a contradiction. The whole point of terminators being machines is that they were ruthless, cold, calculating machines that couldn't be reasoned with.

@DELAVEGA1984 Also, I believe in T2 Arnie says that he can detect when the skin gets damaged, and that can be considered to be "pain". So, Terminators do have some degree of "feelings", just not the same as in humans.

@rayjaymor85 I agree and the show came off like some kind of teen series. Cameron obviously there to stoke young male's hormones. Especially that scene where she took her clothes off and asked him to get on top of her. Yes they can mimic emotions, but the emotions have a purpose. The show took it too far giving them emotions that are really not needed like jealousy. Funny thing is, the T-1000 in T2 was better at smiling and showing emotion than she is and his 'emotions' had a purpose.

The writers got into this whole latent anger John had for Cameron, which led to the idiocy of Riley and then slightly beyond. I never got it. Okay, the guy was frustrated with loving a machine, but at some point, deal with it. You made your decision to keep her around. He really was a jerk to her for a lot of Season 2. Pretty irritating.

Ich liebe diesen haufen Edelmetall. Und Summer ist einfach fantastisch. Schon in Angel als Ballerina, sah sie dort zum ersten mal. Und überhaupt, wäre nicht jede Folge von TTSCC besser als T2 und T3 zusammen, ich würde es nur wegen Summer anschauen und als DVD kaufen.

Your right. In T2 John asked his Arnold body gaurd if he felt being shot. The terminator responded by saying that it "sensed" injury but it didn't recieve the data "pain"

What I want to know is, what is she trying to tell John. He seemed a little uncomfortable when she told him she had sensations. She wouldn't be worth much if she couldn't feel. This is the chemistry you see with them, I think she may be somehow becoming more human, like in the film Bicentennial Man.
