@00chicken101 Kid was teased about fapping all through high school, someone posted the Dr Who in the Rain gif in response, and someone posted this link in response to that.
I am a guy, but i've been raised with girls for most of my life. Parent's divorced, live w/ mom and sister, both really girly. So I've always been more sensitive and emotional than most guys. With David Tennant as doctor, i cried in some episodes. Especially at his regeneration. Now, with Moffat as writer, a phenomenal writer, i cry at almost every episode. That's what I love about Doctor Who: It's sci-fi, but it's also emotional. It's the only show that has ever gotten me to cry.
@mrrandomguy123456789 Whatever, dude. My gf likes sensitive guys. Says they're sexier than guys who aren't sensitive. All a matter of opinion i guess.
@Vashtanerada477 You sir, are awesome. I, as a female, Always say a true man doesn't have specifications. Its if you are who you are and proud to be that. True to your self. Gender doesn't matter. Your girlfriend has a good man. I would like to give her a nice high five on a job well done.
@Vashtanerada477 I know that feeling I from a single parent famiy who has not had opportunity to have a father figure in his life, I do have brothers but they were out doing their own thing. But the best thing being raised my a mother on your own you do developed a sensitive and emotional side and their nothing wrong with it, I do believe that society has not moved forward that much and its taking its time very much.
@Vashtanerada477 I unfortunately do not feel a thing for either of Moff's series'. I also only cried at End of Time part 2 (The last 30 Minutes) i am generally not a crier.
i'm personally a rose fan, but the thing i can't get over (i got over doomsday) is that the doctor's never happy. HE SHOULD GET A HAPPY ENDING. even if it's with donna or rose or anyone. be happy, doctor!
@SuperJosser Back at the start of the 10th Doctor's life, his hand was cut off by the Sycorax but he grew another cos he was in the first 15 hours of his regeneration. At the end of the last episode, the Doctor was shot by a Dalek and began to regenerate but he aborted the regeneration energy and put it into his hand. Donna touched the hand and acted as a catalyst... this bought the other 10th Doctor to life with Donna's personality and vice versa but that was a Time Lord mind, bad for a human.
I remember the first time I watched this episode, I was very sad and all when the Doctor left Rose for good but I thought it was okay because they were still connected in a way through their memories and Rose had the other Doctor, they had their happy ending. On the other hand, I was completely devastated after this scene! I loved his friendship with Donna so much, they were like siblings and he was forced to erase himself completely from her memory. It's so damn heartbreaking!!
@jkarani Uh...RTD didn't cop out technically. The Doctor said if she ever remembered then she would burn up, so to make sure that that DOESN'T happen, he installs a defense mechanism in her mind which causes her to get knocked out if she remembers too much. It is activated when she remembers anything, and was activated in The End of Time. It's not a RTD cop out; if anything it shows how the doctor always has a back up plan and never leaves his companions defenseless.
I just finished The End Of Time and I have a question I hope somebody can answer...
********SPOILERS IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE END OF TIME*********
Okay,so The Doctor said that if Donna ever remembered or was reminded about anything from the time they spent together, then it would burn up her mind and she would die. But in The End Of Time, she began to remember, but only passed out and didn't die,and they never explained why...does anyone know why?
@Lexpelliarmus The doctor explained it seconds after she passed out. He said, " You didn't think I'd leave my best friend without a defense mechanism did you?" He made it very clear that she shouldn't remember anything, but if she ever did, he set up a protective shield or something in her mind that would knock her out in case she remembered. The details aren't explained in the show, but that's why she didn't die; because the Doctor has back-up plans and never leaves his companions defenseless!
@Zarri I got that part,I just didn't understand why he was making such a big deal about her dying if she were to remember, when he made it so that she'd just pass out instead.
This was just heartbreaking! I was bawling through the entire ending of this episode. I always hate it when the Doctor says he's fine, and he's obviously not. Like Donna said in "Forest of the Dead": "Is that Time Lord code for 'really not all right?' Because I'm fine, too." Those two made the best team!
@Black555Angel Donna was infused with Time Lord knowledge when she helped create a Doctor earlier. She was able to use that knowledge to fight the Daleks. The knowledge, however, was too much for a normal human mind to hold for very long so the Doctor had to erase her memories. If she is reminded of him, then the Time Lord knowledge will come back also, overwhelming her mind again.
If RTD ever wrote a good scene, then it was the scene of Wilf saying good by to the Doctor. 'But every night Doctor when it gets dark and the stars come out I'll look up, on her behalf, I'll look up at the sky and think of you.'
And sadly you can't top that... That might explain the following year's let's be nice and call it screwed up episodes...
i've gotta say this is alot more tragic than the ending of doomsday sure rose was left in the parrell unviserse but at least she had her memerois, this is defently the most tragic ending
this is just so desperately sad, Donna's fate. this just means she can never come back as Donna. all the others, they remembered him, and that makes it so much better than Donna's fate. the fact that she doesn't remember him is what makes it so desperately sad, i mean, just look at The Doctor's expression at 4.35.
1.30, why did Donna's mother get so mad at The Doctor, he's seen her mind, he knows what she thinks, tell her she's important once in a while.
i tell you russel t davies could have made a better story if he had made the daleks operate on some planet other than earth and had reintroduced the thalls as the main antagonists of the daleks instead of earth governments. the shadow proclamation could have been better too if it had been a group of eternals instead of judoon and those other aliens. in my version donna noble dies for real only to come back as someone else.
I only brought this because Donna got a decent ending in End of Time - if they'd killed her I couldn't have watched it again. Catherine Tate put in a muh better performance than I expected and really raised my opinion of her.
You'll have to get over her. There will be no Rose until the Doctor 10.5 returns, if he ever returns. Companions comes and go, that's how everithing sould behave on this show.
'Wilfred is gay'?? okayyy??? He's had a wife/kids & grandchildren so I guess he's hiding it well.
Next you'll be saying Capt.Jack is... oh hang on wait a minute....maybe you're right.
Amazing that the actor who plays Wilfred with a companion of the Doctor in the 1960's and he'll be back as a companion in the last Tennant two parter. :)
This ending was so heartbreaking! Everyone has someone to go back to, and Rose has the Doctor clone, but The Doctor always ends up alone in his TARDIS. It's quite tragic.
Hey, does anyone know the name of the music used in this scene when Donnas Mom says to the Doctor 'as i said I think you should go' I'm specifically talking about the string phrase at 1min56sec? I tried checking 'Dream Of A Normal Death' as someone previously mentioned in the comments but the part I'm trying to locate isn't used in that piece. Any help would be really appreciated.
Yeah, it's a sad ending. But not as depressing as Season Two of "Torchwood," and "Torchwood: Children of Earth," where even resolving the story at the end was too much of a down.
i think her ring flashing was just it reflecting off a light off camera or in the room, but who knows anyway, its nice to think there was something that the fans caught :)
One of the most memorable scenes in the revamped Doctor Who.
I find it incredible how in such a shot matter of minutes, usually in the fianle, they can make the Doctor out to be the greatest man who ever lived and nobody knew about it.
wot a sad ending, i was sitting here crying like a lil baby. It wouldnt be so sad but its like its reality + its actally happening - i wonder how the actors acted that without crying
I just couldn't make out this ending. Personally, I think it was devastatingly sad, epecially for Donna. I know this will sound harsh, but I would have rather had her get killed than be written out in the way she was. It just didn't seem fair. Russel Davies is a good writer, but I thought it was unfair who he left the Doctor on his own AGAIN. Why can't he do a happy ending for once?
Doomsday had a sad scene but that was then overtaken by the big mystery of the Bride at the end. This time there wasn't anything like that which is why it was sad :(
originally there was going to be two cybermen appear behind him, but Russell T Davies decided that it deflected from the sadness of it all so cut it out.
yea thats right i don't know wehn but that what i have heared, it could be in one of the speacils with david tennant or in the regenoration to matt smith or the new series in 2010. who knows but i hear her hands the ring are very important
I think Doctor Who is basically the star trek of Brittain I've noticed, lol. Of course it feels that way for me. But I've always found Dr Who to be the best thing that has ever been made. The fact that they can continuate the series as they have is what keeps me coming back to it. And the even though most of the episodes aren't connected which is good for my Television ADD, lol, It still comes back to that one significant point I.e. this episode. Doctor Who is the shit and forever will be so!
@leongoodswin dr who has less techno babble, stronger stories, less cheesy acting, its about an alien who time travels. Sound anything like str trek? if you say yes your just thinking stereotypically which makes you a fagging shit
@TheDarklordganon Stop right there. A huge bunch of Americans, including myself, know what Dr Who truly is and wouldn't equate it to Star Trek. Dont generalize all of us based on the comment of one person on Youtube
Ya I mean if. You look at most episodes when he doest have a companion he's always so sad. I wish he would come back

Good description, but i swear i saw Micky, Martha and Jack walking together in our universe? Is Micky really with Rose now?
PandasTheMan 2 years ago
Last time I knew he was in the other universe. Its possible he stayed here due to Rose having MetaCrisis!Doctor now.
Axelsrose 2 years ago
You forgot Jenny, the Doctor's Daughter.
Oooo. Two Time Lords now...
wkcia 2 years ago
Crap. How did I forget her? I play her in a Twitter roleplay.
But yeah, Jenny is.. somewhere. XD
Axelsrose 2 years ago
I'm not sure, but I think UNIT don't care. I think she's on the run from the police only.
cybercontroller56565 2 years ago

Lady Catherine is on the run.

Mickey decided to stay on The Doctor's earth, because he felt there was nothing left for him on the parallel world.
thehackneyaccount 2 years ago
Fair enough. Its just he wasnt really mentioned very much after the big finish.

Sylvia really, really, really, annoyed me throughout all of her appearances. Nothing against the actress who played her but aaaagh!!!

The 2 bits that get me:
When the doctor is talking to wilf + donna's mum and he says there are people living in the light singing
songs of donna noble - theyll never forget her while she can never remember. And also when hes talking to wilf at the end. :(

this is so sad
i thought there was no more dr who
it real good acting
im sad now:(
fukthekids 2 years ago 2
it's so heartbreaking when he says "donna, bye" and she's just like "yeah, see ya ..so suzie meyer..."
:(
it was a desperately sad ending
especially at the end when he's alone in the tardis again, when just a while ago it was filled with all the people who love the doctor
i just cry and cry and cry at that last scene
magicbaby44 2 years ago 5
i love how its raining.
and that its a saturday
because obviously its out on a saturday,
and it pretty much rained all summer!
reason being - the doctor and everyone flew the earth back home :)
bernard cribbins is an actual legend! his speech about looking out for the doctor gets me everytime!
and i also think it would have been kinder to let donna die, she has to live a monotonous life now!
V500 2 years ago 3
I just couldn't make out this ending. Personally, I think it was devastatingly sad, epecially for Donna. I know this will sound harsh, but I would have rather had her get killed than be written out in the way she was. It just didn't seem fair. Russel Davies is a good writer, but I thought it was unfair who he left the Doctor on his own AGAIN. Why can't he do a happy ending for once?
Clxxx101 2 years ago 3
You have watched the channels the BBC produce yes? Then you should no they never do happy endings look at eastenders poor danielle :(
AdrienStevens655 2 years ago
they diden't kill her so that they could bring hr back if they wantd to in the future and they are bringing her back for the upcoming spectials
leongoodswin 2 years ago
i love how you walk away from this not really knowing whether it's happy (because of rose) or sad (because of this). genius writing.

where does donnas mother get off telling my doctor to leave like he was the most repugnant person in the world? the cheeky old sod!
doctorw2 3 years ago 2
I thought this was way sadder than the end of "doomsday"
Thx1138d 3 years ago
Doomsday had a sad scene but that was then overtaken by the big mystery of the Bride at the end. This time there wasn't anything like that which is why it was sad :(
Trayusstudent1 2 years ago 2
originally there was going to be two cybermen appear behind him, but Russell T Davies decided that it deflected from the sadness of it all so cut it out.
MrsLemony 2 years ago
Yeah I know. I think that was for the best besides, there should be a long time between JE and TND :)
Trayusstudent1 2 years ago
I'm glad I found this; bits of it were cut out of the BBC America airing!

Doctor Who is the shit and forever will be so!

doctor whos completely different to star trek!!!!!!!!!!!

Wasnt Dr. Who started in 63 and Star Trek wasnt until the late 60's early 70's?
billywitchdocter 9 months ago
@leongoodswin doctor who came first haha
JoeyJizzable 8 months ago
@leongoodswin dr who has less techno babble, stronger stories, less cheesy acting, its about an alien who time travels. Sound anything like str trek? if you say yes your just thinking stereotypically which makes you a fagging shit

Are people actually this retarded...?
I'm saying that it's bullshit that people say this...
Fucking americans...
-.-
TheDarklordganon 8 months ago
@TheDarklordganon Stop right there. A huge bunch of Americans, including myself, know what Dr Who truly is and wouldn't equate it to Star Trek. Dont generalize all of us based on the comment of one person on Youtube
