That was my first earthquake and I was 3 living in Rosemead, and my family still doesn't understand why I'm terrified of earthquakes. I had the honor of living near the Northridge '94 one too.

Poor Kelly Lange now has had so many face lifts she looks like a cat squeezing it's face through a chain link fence. This was not even that big of an earthquake, I've been thropugh them all since 1971 and this one was not that big.

I think i was in 4th grade when this happend. It was my first quake. I lived in whittier and went to school at west whittier. It was horrible.

This was my very first earthquake and I was in the 6th grade and alone at school when it struck. I was scared as hell that day and just remember my homeroom teacher telling me that I would be okay.

i lived in up town whittier were this hit the wall fell on me . and when i ran out side all i could see the front neighbors house moving like jello.

This was my first quake, too. I was all of 4 years old. Knocked me out of my chair while I was throwin' down on some cereal. Can't believe it's been 20+ years.
