It looks quite fast, i'm planning to buy a netbook but they say the aspire one gets broken a lot is it true?

I cant speak for the new 10.1 and the other one (although I think their pretty much the same) but so far mine has been just as dependable, if not more than my desktop pc. I've dropped it about 3 times, twice off my bed, and once of my desk, and it didnt so much as give me an error message. Check out the reviews on bestbuy, to compare it to others as far as customer satisfaction goes.

I getting the 10.1" for my birthday, I've done a lot of research on it. I like how awesome the intel atom is, It has 1.66 GHz which makes it only about 400 MHz less powerful then the AMD 64 Athlon x2 in my desktop which is incredible power for such a small device plus the Atom implements Hyper-threading which makes it a virtual Dual Core. Not to mention the Aspire has a good amount of Ram which is 1 GB along with its 160 GB Hard Dive

it gets hot after sitting on fabric after and hour or so, but if it's just on your lap you probably wont notice unless your sitting there using it for over and hour or so.

So you can easily connect to your local area network or a wireless hotspot.

best buy has these for about $300, but with tax, like 30 bucks more so 330. this is why its 340 on amazon because they pay the tax 4 u.
