You're correct, the Unites States are not in Japan. However, Gundam was created in Japan, thus the names the Japanese give their characters are the correct names. I can argue this until the day my hands seize up from carpel tunnel, and you'll never be right about how the name is spelled or pronounced.

Heero's last name is Yui, plain and simple. It's not my fault that the idiots who translated the series into english fucked up on Heero's name.

Also, vowels are pronounced differently in different languages. Most letters are. In Japanese, Yui is the correct spelling of Heero's last name, not Yuy. Yuy is how the idiot brazilians spell it because of their bastardized language.

@OhShitItsMee It's just that, the other gundam series, it seems rather uneven. I mean, in Gundam Seed & Destiny the gundams are over powered, say, the Freedom. Your familiar with the Freedom right? Freedom has the ability to kill a lot of units. On the other hand, the gundam pilots in Gundam Wing are equally matched and take hits from other mobile suits as well. In my opinion, Gundam Wing seems to be more realistic.
