CPAWS I am curious to know where you get your information concerning the health of Woodland Caribou populations in the boreal forest? How do you know the species is at risk? By all means fight for the preservation of the boreal, the boreal needs advocates to protect the species that call this great ecosystem home. However, misleading public to believe Woodland Caribou are at risk is propaganda. We know very little about Woodland Caribou; what they eat, require for habitat, etc. Stay true.

In particular, check out Environment Canada's Critical habitat report for Woodland caribou. Woodland caribou are recogized by Canada's government as threatened federally, and varying status from threatened to healthy from province to province.
