Man what a great crawling track! That rough concrete makes for some great vertical climbs! I've been looking at idea's for making my own crawling area and this was a nice inspiration.
hahaha thats funny I run the same almost everything on my creeper!! I have a Novak Rooster crawler ESC, Rover tires soft, 2 stage Pro-Line mem. Foams, exept the servo i run is a MG12K-208oz torque and metal geared of course, and a 12V Drill Motor about a 70 turn or so!!! great setup there!!! I love mine it is an under rated machine 4 sure, will out do any of them or match easy in 2.2class, I also run different shocks in the rear only kept the front but with heavier oil and lotsa preload!! thnx!!
naw the only problem i have had with mine is the drive pins coming out the drive axles and the drive shafts but i used ca glue and that fixed that shit the plastic gears havnt be damaged in mine and i run mine to the point of no return im using a hs-645mg servo and the axial 55 t motor im loving this crawler comparoed to its other 1/10 competiton
man let me tell you,i went and bought some surgical rubber tubing at lowes, cut it to the right length and put it over the driveshaft pins and it works like a charm. i have done some other cool things with the locking diffs that works great.bigtwins1@gmail.com
Dont buy the Venom wheel weights. They are nice, but cost 50+ bucks. Go to bass pro, gander mtn., cabelas, etc. and pick up what they call pencil lead. It comes in a three foot coil and you can wrap it around the wheel itself then put the tire back on. WILL NOT SLIP OR MOVE. its only like five bucks.
Where online can you buy this? I don't have any RC shops near by and when I do searches online I just find parts to build your own with. I would like to have a pre built one first before I get that much into the hobby.
@sotik As far as I know you cant buy the creeper pre built. It only comes in a kit. It also comes as a roller (no electronics). You need a motor, servo, transmitter, receiver, and ESC with it. You might be able to find a used one on ebay that is built and comes with electronics. Otherwise go with the RTR Axial model.
Thanks guys, looking forward to it, last year was a blast, I really want to do well. Wherever I place it's about all the UK enthusiasts in 1 place at 1 time and pushing the scene forwards... keep the snowball rolling :)
ye is ok, but good job im not going nats after all ya hard work wouldent wana beat you. only jokeing thats a very smooth and nice crawler...king crawl uk(ukrcrc)

Duckyistrippin 2 years ago
Its a 1015, and high torque, fast and metal geared!
just make sure ytou run a good BEC (or yoyur ESC has one!) to stop the receiver losing power and re-setting at full load :)

venom only comes in a kit. Takes like 8 hours to build. you can always buy one from a private owner tho.
