It's just not as fun...there is something about the first game that's amazing but two just seems to be lacking...the game play, music and overall enjoyment of the game is just not as good...in my opinion.
you knwo you can still play the game. just download a nes emulator. i don't know if it is alright to do it. but i do it just for fun. and sometimes i just play the game then take the game off.
I always thought the Bermuda Triangle level would be the same place as that episode "Bermuda Triangle Terror", and that the boss at the end is the sea monster from that same episode... :/
Nothing worthy of the Moon stage theme here. I never played the sequel, but I can tell they made some good & bad changes. The levels look harder, but they seem 100% more linear than the first game, where you had to do some searching & puzzle solving to get to the boss. Also, where's the giant computer at the stage select! That was always awesome to see!
actually there are pieces of a treasure map in each level, if you collect them all you can get a different ending. there's also more gizmos to play around with iirc.
thanks a lot for uploading! do you have all tracks from this game recorded separately? maybe you could send them to me? i`ve been looking for these soundtracks for ages (without the game background sounds)
DuckTales 2 is quality...but it's not even close to being as good as the first game.

@Crowster12781 May I ask why you think that?

I don't understand the love.
The music sounds forced and unimaginitive, especially when compared to the first Duck Tales.
2:37 was somewhat good, but I wouldn't grade that too high either.

wait a minute... a second duck tales game? how come I didn't know there was a sequel to a gem like duck tales? damn I need to get this game somewhere

@xmybrilliantx Yes. And I beat both games on the NES and game boy. Duck Tales 2 was much more difficult.

BTW, if you run across the name "Yuukichan's Papa", that's Yoshihiro Sakaguchi's pseudo-name.
AlucardsQuest 3 years ago
I see that name every once in a while, it's actually the one weird Capcom pseudonym I remember. I'll keep it in mind, thanks dude.
garudoh 3 years ago
My understanding is that Yoshihiro Sakaguchi did the music for this game as well as the original.

It's a better game. Great music, but you're right the Moon stage-theme is a masterpiece

That's neat. It's more improved than I thought. I'd still miss the ginormous computer.
doppleganger4827 2 years ago
The levels can be beaten linearly, but there's a metric ton of secrets areas.

I'll need to explore the game sometime. Thanks for the feedback everyone. Keep making that rich bastard of a duck even richer!
