He also said he introduced tax cuts last year to stave of the recession! He said there was no risk of a recession less than a year ago, obviously if the tax cut were to prevent a recession there was a risk!

It was a good plan with a good goal, which was to help the environment. The thing people like you don't get is that right now turning your economy green is the best way to get out of and economic mess because you create a whole new economy that will obviously need jobs. The problem with the proposal was just the timing of it. People got scared and they turned to the conservatives because of the fear-mongering they were exercising against Dion. Dion deserved better; he had the best for us in mind
