Come on man, does Robert Mugabe represent the whole of Africa? That is like taking something the Polish president says/does and extrapolating that for the rest of Europe. Lets not be flippant now, and represent situations accurately.

There are several stable democracies in Africa. Your first statement and your second statement have little to do with eachother; a country can be a democracy but still not produce results that you like. South Africa is still a democracy despite the fact that Thabo Mbeki was an idiot (and Jacob Zuma isn't great either).
