It seems extremely dangerous and rash to take this man into his home--however well-meaning. He has his family he should have considered. It's easy to imagine this ending very badly. Maybe it will be a happy ending, but it is a terrible gamble with the lives of his family at stake. We'll have to see what happens.
Let's see now: two warring camps (sparta & athens?); children raised on islands as warriors (sparta); class system with migrant workers on bottom and a ruling class called purple (athens)? Has anyone read Plato's Republic recently???
In Terminator..dogs spot the enemy. In this story, cats spot the the enemy. Another Outer Limits episode that's similar to the Terminator is "The man who was never born."
Beyond two soldiers going back in time which happens in the first five minutes of the show I don't really see many parallels between this and Terminator.
If anything it reminds me more of Halo's Master Chief...
It may be better and to his credit Harlan Ellison liked "The Terminator" and recommended it despite that, he simply believed [and I agree] that Cameron should have asked for permission and given Harlan credit. Harlan says he wouldn't have asked for a dime. Yes people do borrow a lot, but Cameron actually admitted that he used Harlan's stuff in a 1984 Starlog interview. Hemdale then pressured them to remove the comments but Harlan got the original tape recording/transcripts.
So Cameron settled and gave Harlan credit for the video version. I'll I'm saying is that if your going to borrow ideas/concepts fine, but be honest and give credit where its due. Don't try to pass it off as your own original creation. Its why despite being very talented, I have little respect for James Cameron because of his massive ego. "The Terminator" is a very good film though.
It's Kang!

the least those soldiers could do is let him have an extra suit of armor. Or at least run it through the wash.
