I'm Very tall....I'm 5'9", and i'm only 13, but i'm very proud of my height...I would not be playing first base if it wasn't for my height....(even though i'm a hell of a good first base woman)

Don't plant your front foot untill you see were the thow is going to go! if your plant foward and the ball gose to the left or right you will have to readjust and that will throw off your balance. Wait till the ball is thrown then react to the ball!!

she deffitanly doesnt play 1st base cause u dont use 2 hands 2 catch a ball at 1st and she cnt stretch at alll

I play softball i am U11 girls softball but i play 1st base and im not tall or short. When i tag someone out im aloud to keep my foot on the base the coach tells us to put our foot on the base and wait to catch the ball.

umm i dont get how this video confuses people its so simple tallest person or someone who could catch all the balls and is able to stretch plays first and so u dont interfere wit runner as u put ur foot right in the corner of the base and if its a bunt 1st base men comes up 2nd covers first or if 1st can get the ball and run back to the base and tag it they could do that

yeeaaa i thought i'd couch our girls teeam at the boys and girls club buuuut seeing this video has proven that Im SO confused that id confuse the players
