@TheKrustaceox Don't worry, there's no problem with the sound. My computer was lagging a bit while recording. PCSX2 has come a long way since this video too so make sure you get the newest version.

I would love learn more about configuring emulators myself. ps2 ps3? I tried ps2 emu a couple times and the game skipped hard. I figured i just didnt know wut i was doing. Any links for help or advice?
Not really. Just have yourself a strong cpu and stay on top of updates. These days a minimal amount of config is necessary, as all my videos show [defaults].

What a noob, you know nothing about emulation. You can set the screen resolution to 1920x1080 if your screen will let you. and the game will be in HD!

well since appeareantly it wont read quad is there a chance it can read tripple core? also since the cpu needs to be closer to 3.0GHz Would a 3.2 GHz quad run on the ps2 or it still doesnt matter it wont read quad regardless of speed??
a triple core? where did you get one from anyways ? and if you got a quad core like the q6600 rest assured that you can play games at pretty good fps most of the time its 60-50 and it tottaly depends on the games compatibility.even though pcsx2 doesnt fully use quad cores.which will give you plenty of processing power to do other work.whenever iam using pcsx2 my processor shows 25% in task manager.and i even played dmc4 while leaving pcsx2 running in the background.

I'm running an AMD Phenom 9500 (2.2 Ghz Quad-core). When I run FFXII on 0.9.6 I'm barely able to pull 80% on gameplay. Any tips on how to set this sucker up or am I screwed since this won't recognize all 4 cores?
Well there's always the cycle hacks you can try. Depending on your graphics card, native internal res can make a difference too. In honesty, 2.2ghz sounds like it might be too weak for PS2 emu. You need to be much closer to 3ghz for most games. You ever consider overcclocking?

You cant play games in HD that are not designed to play in HD.
The idea of save states is a good feature though.

You can play any game in HD. Only a few games have slight scaling issues because of it.

It's not programed to use all 4 cores. That's why my Athlon 64 X2 @ 3.0 gh/z goes 100% on a lot of things :P
The only tip I can provide is to overclock your Processor in Bios.
If it's the black edition it was made for overclocking anyway!
