  • Very informative, thanks! Does Redken contain sulfates?

  • thanks

  • Is it bad to have different types of shampoos like ones for curly and the others for frizzy?

  • Is there any way i can grow my hair out fast?

  • Don't use Loreal!! THEY TEST ON ANIMALS and it's cruel ..... :(

  • Is it bad to use a shampoo, conditioner, mask or just any other hair products that is for colored treated hair if your hair is not colored?

  • @BrittSoung4 No it's not bad, some shampoos, conditioners and masks deposit colour onto your hair so just beware of that but you should be ok.

  • Do you use a dry shampoo spray when you don't wash your hair? If you do, what brand and where did you get it? Thanks!

  • i love ur videos and attitude, thanks for all ur tips and products that really helps a lot : 0 )

  • So I'm trying to grow out my hair.. i use heat on it only on the weekends..sometimes.. i probably use heat 4-5 times a month.. i dont dye it or anything like that either.. its reallyyyy thick and always soft n shiney.. i dont use a deep conditioner.. should i start?(would it help the hair growth process?) i try to wash my hair like every other day but sometimes i wash it everyday..is that bad? and does using product like gel or mouse stop the growth cuz i heard that it does... ?

  • Is it okay to use leave-in conditioner under the heat protectant? Shouldn't your hair be clean, because if you use heat in it and you have oily hair if you washed it day before and if the leave-in conditioner has some oils in it, aren't you frying your hair? Isn't it basically the same as if you fry your food in a deep fryer?

  • you kind of look like katy perry.

  • You don't have to cut your hair if you have split ends. There's a jungle of hairproducts that makes the hair LOOK like the ends are not split. Redken for example.

  • @Mitchpinck You're right, but the split ends will travel up further unless they're cut and that really really weakens your hair. So it might LOOK healthy but it won't feel and be healthy.

  • i dident know howthe time went by!

  • SO what leave in conditioner do you use??? and after the 5 minutes that it has been in your hair after your shower how do you take it out?

  • @ajduncan99 leave-in conditioners are meant to "leave in" its okay to do that. =) i like the herbal essence long term relationship leave in conditioner......its just not good to keep in hair masks or regular conditioner over night. they are meant to be washed out after 5-10 minutes...

  • @gigglegiggle33 thanks heaps xxx

  • HOW DO U GET PRETTY WAVY HAIR im asian so my hair is straight

  • so it bad too sleep in conditioneer

  • @peacesigngirl1 yes.... its possible to get too much protien in your hair which will make it weaker. leave it in for 5 minutes max

  • My blow dryer has a 'cool' option, does that still damage your hair with heat? Or is it just regular air going through?

  • Do you have any suggestions on the bet cut for naturally curly hair?

  • do u know of a really good anti dandruff shampoo and condition?? and is a clarifying shampoo okay to use inconjuction with there products?? thanks xo

  • I have very oily hair and I have tried the showering at night thing...but when I wake up I always have to shower again no matter what, because my hair gets insanely greasy overnight. Is there anything I can do to change that? Or do I just have to wait over time? My mother told me she had oily hair in her 20s as well but then it cut down. Any advice?

  • @SunsetHibiscus have you tried dry shampoo?

  • @SunsetHibiscus I tried it once but didn't work out for me...I'm willing to again though if it will help. Do you suggest any particular kind? And thanks for the response, I appreciate it =)

  • ... Mentioned that smooth down is also good for curly hair. Of the 2, which would you recommend? I would say that my hair isn't super curly but it is loose curls/defined waves. I feel that my hair is a bit on the dry side and could use some tlc! Thanks!

  • I loveee your videos! This was the first of your videos that I watched and now I'm hooked! I've probably watched all your videos by now and I'm closely keeping up to date with your vlog channel as well! Btw congrats you're going to make a great mom! I am soo happy for you!

  • Where am I able to buy the enjoy shampoo and con.?

  • omg thank you so much

  • when i went to my local beauty supply store today, i noticed that there is already an enjoy "leave-in conditioner" (purple bottle), which is different from the enjoy product (white bottle) that you specifically use as a leave-in conditioner. how come you don't use the purple one that's marked "leave-in conditioner" for your leave-in conditioner? also, have you tried the enjoy hair mask? <3

  • i really love love love ur vids !

    very informative !!

i like ur beauty also .. u have a baby face .. which is very adorable <3

  • i know you said to use the deep conditioner 3-4 times a week, but how often do YOU use it since you wash your hair every other day? also, are you supposed to use the deep-conditioner right after shampooing and conditioning, or do you skip conditioning on the days you use a deep conditioner? thanks :)

  • @HollyMarl its all about how damaged you hair is and what shape your hair is in. Sometimes if my hair is feeling really dry i bump up the masque... etc. but usually i just use the redken or enjoy shampoo and conditioner... and then i will switch up the deep conditioner and masque whenever i feel needed. maybe once a week... or twice a week if i feel like it. i dont keep track too much, i just kinda go with waht my hair tells me. if you are going to deep condition, skip reg conditioning.

  • @carahamelie03 thank you!!! that was helpful :) if i use a masque, then i skip regular conditioning too? or does that only apply to the deep conditioner?

  • i freaking love your videos (:

ur so pretty and your hair ones are my favess.! honestlyy i am using one of ur different hairstyles everyday <3

  • i like your hair there... can you make a tutorial on that hair plz

  • Ok, so I have been doing the shower at night thing. But whoa, my hair in the morning is crazy wild. Do you put yours in a ponytail at night, or do you keep it down...?

  • @nmcharles09 i wash it early enough in the night so it has time to dry so i dont sleep on it really wet. and it seems to be pretty good in the morning! :)

  • is joiceo or pantene good? cuz i wear that on my hair

  • @Haileydisnemo8289 joico is good... pantine not so much!

  • do you wash your hair every day?

  • @ang82890 every other day.. sometimes every 3 days... but rarely. haha

  • make $8+ a day in less then a month NO SKILLS /watch?v=BMPhsRN19Ms

  • My hair is really thin and I mean REALLY thin ! How can I make it thicker?? Or I am stuck with it ?? ;p PLEASE REPLY ANYONE ! ;p;p

  • cool must see facebook trick /watch?v=Fd0di5HFboY

  • Hey I just subbed I really like your hair. What volume developer did you use to get that blonde?

  • Good to know about the heat protectant. Another sulfate free shampoo drugstore option is organix. Its pretty easy to find, smells amazing all day, and comes in a variety of smells. I can't wait to try the loreal sulfate free mask.

  • i have really curly hair and its color treated and it feels really brittle and dry and seems to be breaking easily any suggestions on what i could use to help it ?

  • @kbcurlygirl96 try bumble and bumble mending shampoo! it workds great for color treated hair that is brittle and damaged!

  • where did you get enjoy from and how much does it cost

  • @HaydreaShow online! check it out on amazon(dot)com. its more expensive than drugstore brands... but not CRAZY expensive! :)

  • thanks for the vid, very appriciate

  • Ooh and do you maby have more tips for frizzy hair?

  • Do you have like your whole upper section until your chin? Or just the front? And what kind of hair do you have? Is it straight of curly or what? Ps. I love love love your video's!

  • i m lil' confused.. when d u use the enjoy and redken conditioners? every other day or alternatively or both in the same week?? n when to use the small enjoy conditioner...thanks for the info love watching ur vids..reply soon

  • i have bleach blond hair and it is obviously damaged. what should i do?

  • My hair has been falling out like crazy lately and i was so desperate to find domething that would make my hair stop it from falling out so much and I saw in one of your comments that you reccomended Niioxin so I went out and bought the three step set, now my question is do I go ahead and wash my hair everyday or just wash it ever other day? PLEASE REPLY!!!!

  • @23Crysti every other day is best if you can

  • @carahamelie03 Thanx! One more question.. do you know how long it would take before i start noticing any changes with my hair

  • Hi I loveeee your videos :) so I have a question my natural hair is curly, I straighten my hair ALOT! and now my hair is SUPER straight and I am not sure whyyy?.. what can I do to have my curly hair bak ;( can you plzz help me..

  • What do you think about Morrocan Oil products?

  • Ive been looking at trying enjoy haircare products for awhile now and finally decided to try it cuz youve recomended the brand several times.

OMG I LOVE the conditioning spray!! I cant believe how much softer my hair feels just using that! Its not greasy at all! Im gonna try the shampoo and conditioner once im done with what i have!

Thank you for your suggestions and helpful hints :)

  • is it necessary to apply conditoner after every wash by a shampoo..???

  • Sorry if this has already been asked but, what should I do about static-y hair?

  • @carahamelie03 Where can I purchase the fist shampoo you mentioned? I wanna try it! Would it be a good shampoo for oily hair too? My hair gets oil buildup on only one side of my scalp! It's so annoying! :(

  • I totally use that L'Oreal masque!!

  • Up to now I have mainly heard that shampoo and cond. should be silicone free. In terms of sulfate I made sure my shampoos don't contain the harsher sodium laureyl sulfate. And are the enjoy products silicone free, especially the shampoo?? And are there drugstore options that are not tested on animals, does anyone know??

  • This may have already been asked, but how often do you color your hair if you're using the demi permanent?

  • @eyelashalot thanks for the info :)

  • Whenever I straighten my hair, my hair gets all oily, so then i have to wash it once the day's over, is there a way to prevent this? And I do put baby powder in my hair if its gets oily, it sjust a pain to take off bc it gets all staticy.

  • This was so useful thanks :)

  • what if you use cool air to blow dry your hair?

thank you for the video! it helped tremendouslyy

  • you seem like a real sweetie, thank you for the video, it helped me so much!

  • I am so suprise this was so helpul :)

  • Woah, good to know about the heat protectant. I'm seriously not using enough! I can't wash my hair everyday, so will that cause buildup to use more do you think?

  • @martita107 heat protectant is something that lightly coats the hair and often evaporates as you use heat on it, so I don't think you should get any build up, but be consious of massaging your scalp as you shampoo and that will get rid of any possible build up! Hope this helps.

  • I love the way u did ur hair. I love ur makeup, earrings, and ur ring.

  • yes! omg i use enjoy also, it is sooo good for colored hair and although it is very expensive it is so worth it. i'm so excited someone else uses this shampoo!

  • yes! omg i use enjoy also, it is sooo good for colored hair and although it is very expensive it is so worth it. i'm so excited someone else uses this shampoo!

  • Hi! WOW thank you so much for the great video- It was very informative! Loved the bloopers : D I hardly ever use hot tools on my hair, and have never dyed it. BUT I lately I have been blow drying my hair because I shower in the morning-it wakes me up. If I blow dry my hair I don't feel the urge to curl my hair. Is that okay/ Do you have any suggestions for how I can prevent blow-drying my hair? I use biolage- Is that a carah approved brand? Do you recommend boarbristle or regular brushes?THANKS

  • Do you know any good gel that doesnt flake or give that cruchy feeling for wavy hair?

  • @nv0620 check out john masters organics :) its works amazing for me x

  • what product is good to prevent split ends?

  • love your hairstyle...so cute!!!

  • longest intro of my life... not really just seems like it!!!

  • Suchh a good/helpful vid :)

  • this was incredibly informative and that is why you are my favorite beauty guru!!! thank you so much!

  • the echoing is a tad bit annoying :) nice vid tho

  • LOVE YOUR HAIR DO U HAVE A VIDEO ON HOW TO DO IT ? XXXXXX

  • i have a question about shine treatments that clairol sells and so does john frieda....is this damaging to the hair at all?

  • I just go to the salon to colour my hair and I don't know what kind of colour that they use.. so.. what's a demi colour hair??

  • your skin looks amazing here!

  • Thanks so much for the info. It was sooooo helpful!!

  • i always shower at night too and i know how bad blow dryers are... but i can't stand the feeling of wet hair. i used to go to school with it wet and let it dry twisted up (or even just down) but ugh... that feeling is so yuckie. lol. i'd rather dry it with a big, round brush and not use tools.

have you tried the Organix shampoo and conditioner? it's sulfate free and paraben free and AMAZING!

  • You're hair in this video is super cute :)

  • so blow dryer heat is worse than hot tools?

  • you're my favorite youtube guru! you are SO gorgeous. haha words seriously cannot express how pretty you are :) keep up the good work!

  • You're my favorite guru! You're so pretty and sweet. :D♥

  • what line of hair color do you use?

  • @HeidiHoNeighbor89XX paul mitchell

  • @carahamelie03 It sounded like you were describing PM Shines, I love that stuff! Smells good too!

  • oh and, is there a Redken shampoo for oily greasy hair? :)

  • @YellowSocks94 probably body full

  • @carahamelie03 Thankyou! :)

  • @YellowSocks94 Yes, it's called Redken scalp relief oil detox. I really like it. :)

  • @ItsNaomiBaby Sounds good, I'll have a look for it :) thanks x

  • your hair is amazing like this! :)

  • Great video. Really helped me figuring out the deep conditioner and masque.

  • Is it okay to put heat protectant spray in your hair while its wet? Or should you wait until it drys?

  • @Lawlimad no you should put some in your hair when its wet especially if you blow dry

  • This video was sooooo incredibly helpful!!! Ps I'm so glad you reviewed enjoy! I've been wanting to buy it but didn't know if it was worth the product :-)

  • You should try & make your videos a bit shorter.

    Wayyyy to longg to watch.

    :)

  • When you put in the tresemme heat protectant, do you have to wait until the hair is completely dry before you straighten it? Or is it better to put the heat protectant when your hair is still damp from after washing?

  • what shampoo and conditioner is good for oily hair? because I've been having to wash my hair everyday because it gets oily if I don't wash it for one day and I know that's bad for my hair.

  • @ellipticalpattern something light... like a volume shamp, and cond. also, use a clarifying shampoo once a week

  • i have i suppose you could say combination hair in the way that it seems to be quite smooth and flat on the top but towards the ends its curly/wavy so the ends of my hair frizz out and are really dry. not so much because it's damaged, which it is don't get me wrong but when i straighten it the frizzy dryness on my ends go away. i don't want to straighten my hair everyday so what is a good way to tame my frizzy ends when i wash my hair?

  • @snaileen try a smoothing serum on the ends! also just use the deep cond. and masques on the ends of your hair

  • Thnks so much this helped I usually just spray my heat protected all over like the salon I go to does, I didn't know I was doing in wrong it makes so much sense

  • Does anyone know any good products for dandruff? I have like a small case of it and it annoys me.

  • How do you feel about lightning your hair with lemon juice?

do you recommend it or should i stay away from that?

  • @goldiloks82 its a little drying, but it does work! and it gives a natural look to your hair

  • Wats ur natural hair texture??

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO I have the treseme heat tamer spray and i didn't know how or where to spray it.

  • U look so pretty wit ur bangs back . well ....you r always GORGEOUS and halpful <333 :)

  • after you put your heat protectant, can you straighten your hair right away? 'coz it sizzles, is that alright?

  • @intofashion03 the sizzle is not so good, usually its good to comb out the heat protectant and waiting for it to dry so that it can seal into your hair and thus protect the strands then straigthen it its - hope that helps you :)

  • do you know of any products that help the hair to grow faster?? i'm trying to grow my hair out but it seems to be taking forever :(

  • @girliejade No products are going to make your hair grow faster. You just have to be patient.

  • @girliejade i noticed when i started taking vitmans everday and also fish oil my hair really started growing alot faster, usually your body gets used to vitamins within a 30 day period.=)

  • About a month ago I bought garnier anti dandruff shampoo. It works really well but it dries my hair out. Should I wash my hair with that and then use regular shampoo?

  • What cab I do if I have dry hair??

  • @alexgorbea mosture masques...the loreal sulfate free one i mentioned is what i use

  • A couple weeks ago I switched to Herbal Essences body envy conditioner but I still have Pantene shampoo I am using. The funny thing is, I was using Pantene Nature Fusion conditioner, and I have noticed now that I am using Herbal Essences volume conditioner, when I brush my hair it gets so much static. Do you think the static if from that conditioner?

  • what do u think is more damaging..blow drying your hair or straightening it??

  • @JayeCee06 if you are using the hottest heat on your blow dryer its probably about the same... flat ironing is probably a bit worse though

  • this helped soo much thank you so much!!!

  • do u recomend the macadamia shampoo because i want to buy it because many people say its really good...what do u think?

  • @123makeup1 JLOVESMAC1 just made a quick video on it. She said it has changed her hair drastically over time. I've heard great things about it. Im also thinking about buying it. ;]

  • r u whereing nail polish

  • Too many protein treatments for your hair, or even for your nails for that matter, makes the hair/nails brittle, which will have the opposite effect obviously. So if too much protein is used, your hair will break off even more :)

  • @BeautyGenesis yeah i mentioned that in the vid :) if you are using a high protien shampoo and cond. its good to have another shampoo to swtich between

  • @carahamelie03 You did :D Thanks for your video- seriously helps me to figure out what to do with my hair! I was just expanding a little bit on what you mentioned :) Great videos btw, just found you yesterday and have watched a bunch of your tutorials, practiced a few looks already between my sister and myself!! Thanks sweetie!!

  • @BeautyGenesis awesome! im so glad they help and you like my styles! :) thank you

  • HAIR TUTORIAL ON YOUR HAIR!!

  • What shampoos/products would you recommend for hair which gets greasy quickly, fine and sensitive scalp oh and coloured?

  • @87louisem a lighter shampoo and conditioner like a volume one

  • How'd you do your hair in this video? :)

  • i barely use any heat on my hair but its still reli dry and i get split ends...i don't bother blowdrying and my hairs quite thin too, and its annoying coz it gets greasy reli quickly but before it use to be reli silky soft and shiny....wt do u think im doing wrong or wt has happened to chnge it so drastically?-xx

  • I was showering at night...but I just had the most ridiculous bed head when I fell asleep with wet hair. Any tips for those of us with crazy naturally dried hair? My straightner can only do so much!

  • can you recommend me a specific product that will help my hair not to tangle?

  • @hereewegoagain there is a brand called "blow" it has a good detangler that i like

  • do you switch between the redken and enjoy every time you shower?

  • @LKR414 not everytime... i kinda use them when i feel like switching it up. haha. i dont keep too much track of when i use which.

  • What do these products cost? I am on a really tight budget but would still like nice hair - which I don't have. My hair is really thin and gets greasy so unbelievably fast in the roots and even if I get a nice blow dry at a salon with loads of volume in the roots it usually is all flat again 2 hours later. What can I do?

  • It's really hard for me not to blow dry my hair. I have naturally wavy/curly hair and showering at night doesn't let me embrace my natural texture because it needs to wet when when I style it.

  • @cmrtnx you can wet it down again slightly in the morning, then add the prodcuts that are needed. and then let it dry naturally the rest of the way in the morning

  • i really liked this video. it helps getting ur opinion especially since ur a hair stylist.

  • @MissDa255 well obviously if you use cool air then the heat isnt going to damage it... i thought that was pretty self expanitory. lol but most people use the hot setting because it drys faster..... hence the heat damage. lol

  • I tried the Extreme by Redkin and I haaaated it! It made my hair feel sooo heavy and yuck! I really like Blonde Glam and All Soft!!

  • @andilynn77 yeah extreme is pretty heavy especially for fine haired people

  • Great tips, Carah! Could you possibly post the prices for the products listed? They're not usually listed on the websites for retail value. Thanks :)
