I think the term best friend suits them well in every regard. I've heard more speakers at my college than I could count say the following of their wives: "She's my best friend, my confidant..." well, you can insert your positive noun. Basically, the pattern for a successful relationship seems to be simple: choosing someoe with all the trits you would look for in a best friend. All in all, I'd say Hunter and Colleen have it made.
