@DyeHawk well if you look at it with the eyes of an entrepreneur, the wii actually is the superior console. it has a far more broader target group thanks to its innovative concept and because of that also the higher sales. sure it is the weakest console of the current generation out there in the moment, but that was the price for a broader target market. the wii isn't just aimed at casual gamers, its aimed also at people that would have never thought of buying a game console before.
@DyeHawk nintendo might have lost their appeal to "hardcore" gamers, that have been playing video games since the NES or earlier (like myself) and i honestly have to say that i prefere the xbox360 although i used to be a huge nintendo fanboy in the past. but the wii is clearly the most successful console out there in the moment. nintendo clearly is the poster example for the blue ocean strategy. and now sony and microsoft want to have their fill of the market with the kinect and PS move.

Better parts cost more money to manufacture. By this I'm claming the XDR RAM on PS3 is faster than any ram on Xbox 360, like Cell Broadband Engine is way better than TriCore Xenon.
If Xbox 360 had better graphics, then why does no game have better graphics than Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2 those haven't gotten ported from the Xbox 360, but instead being specifically coded for the PS3..?

Blu-ray isn't so great. What most people don't know is the majority of the space is taken up by duplicates of the same information. They have to replicate the same data so the laser doesn't have to travel as far and slow down processing.

I not judging the system entirely on it's looks, i think that both consoles are at a stage now where they both have very good exclusives and shared titles so you dont really miss out from owning just one. For me the PS3 has more features that i use, such as the web browser and PlayTV, but i still have my Xbox because of its great titles like Mass Effect which is my most favourite game of all time.

I've played a ps3 many times and during those times the games would just freeze on me. also the mic quality is shit. we may have to pay for online, but the online service is alot better. We have things like parties where you can talk with people playing other games and we also are the first choice for things like dlc. modern warfare 2 is going to have 2 map packs exclusively for xbox.

I think the XBOX 360 has more cool features, but the Wii has better games. (I'm not really in to FPS or Racing Games except for ones like Banjo-Kazooie Nuts and Bolts)

I LOled a lot during that video yet I don't start arguments over Microsoft copying the Nintendo and stuff like that. We play video games for fun, so this is pretty irrelevent to our gaming experience in my opinion. Anyways, even the video link says it's a spoof and not to be taken to literally. I think we should just stop flaming each other since no other video game consoles are better than any other as they all have thier good and thier bad games.

Better parts cost more money to manufacture. By this I'm claming the XDR RAM on PS3 is faster than any ram on Xbox 360, like Cell Broadband Engine is way better than TriCore Xenon.
If Xbox 360 had better graphics, then why does no game have better graphics than Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2 those haven't gotten ported from the Xbox 360, but instead being specifically coded for the PS3..?
Also, the PS3 has been selling more than Xbox 360 since the Slim model came out.

Blu-ray isn't so great. What most people don't know is the majority of the space is taken up by duplicates of the same information. They have to replicate the same data so the laser doesn't have to travel as far and slow down processing.

I not judging the system entirely on it's looks, i think that both consoles are at a stage now where they both have very good exclusives and shared titles so you dont really miss out from owning just one. For me the PS3 has more features that i use, such as the web browser and PlayTV, but i still have my Xbox because of its great titles like Mass Effect which is my most favourite game of all time.

because PS3 now has games asshole its not 2006 anymore. the online is just as good as 360 its lag less due to the fact it has dedicated servers and p2p online making it more reliable and lag free.
Now if you wanna start talking about what the difference between the elite and ps3 are due to the prices being the same keep this in mind.

I've played a ps3 many times and during those times the games would just freeze on me. also the mic quality is shit. we may have to pay for online, but the online service is alot better. We have things like parties where you can talk with people playing other games and we also are the first choice for things like dlc. modern warfare 2 is going to have 2 map packs exclusively for xbox.
