I had a 88 iroc Z camaro with a tpi 5.7 black ext on black int with blue ext stripe,it was a fun car except with (at least the auto trans) it did only 125 mph top end,but a quick one.
the new camaro should not be touched. it looks great the way it is. its just got such a unique, i want to eat your babies look to it and that is why i love it.
5th gens are just ugly cars that look more like sedans than pony cars. Third gens will always be the best Camaro. You have a nice one there, keep it that way please.
It can not be called an IROC, unless or until it is used in the "International Race of Championships." Where do you think that name comes from? Do you honestly think tht the guys at Chevy thought it up on their own?
Remember in the 80's, Dodge had one, it was the Daytona IROC. Obviously it wasn't a Camaro, but it is still called an IROC because it was made specially for that particular race. VW even has one in the works.

I did see one yesterday that was done right and really looked good. The new 5.0 is fucking amazing. Just do yourself a favor and go test drive one at a dealership they're sick and if you know the kid working he'll let you open that shit up. I own the 2011 V6 because the 5.0's price is far to steep for me.

Eh, every Camaro style is amazing in its own way, the 2010s already took a lot of design elements from each generation, its fun to wonder and think up concepts like this and stuff but at the end of the day they're each their own amazing style and should be left that way.
1st- the new camaros are amazing, they have won a ton of awards, so if u dont like the styling, fine, but you are one of very few. 2nd- the iroc-z was a trim level. it wasnt an entirely different styled car. the main cosmetic differences were the hood louvers and the body kit, which they gave to the other trim levels in 87 and after. FYI.

The smaller red car is mine it has been in the family since new it has a posi rear end leather seats special front rimed 1 inch deeper then the back to accommodate the beefier front suspension botomline,

Why did they change the body at all it never really changed on the original just make it a special package with add ons not boddy kits its a Camaro you just dont put a body kit on a Camaro we use ground effects.

I love the 3rd gen camaro, it's my favorite of car of all time, and I like the 5th gen, but that is something that is better seperate. Kinda like trying to mix pepperoni pizza with choclate, you love both, but usually not together, and if you do, you get strange looks from everyone in the room.

I did see one yesterday that was done right and really looked good. The new 5.0 is fucking amazing. Just do yourself a favor and go test drive one at a dealership they're sick and if you know the kid working he'll let you open that shit up. I own the 2011 V6 because the 5.0's price is far to steep for me.

1st- the new camaros are amazing, they have won a ton of awards, so if u dont like the styling, fine, but you are one of very few. 2nd- the iroc-z was a trim level. it wasnt an entirely different styled car. the main cosmetic differences were the hood louvers and the body kit, which they gave to the other trim levels in 87 and after. FYI.

Why did they change the body at all it never really changed on the original just make it a special package with add ons not boddy kits its a Camaro you just dont put a body kit on a Camaro we use ground effects.
