I can remember playing this game back in the day for hours upon hours because of the character developments and emotionally roller coaster it delivered on a simple tube TV I owned. It's just a blast to play this game all over again and just reminisce.

@zombierepublican I would have to say MGS2 is my favorite because of the unique story line & just overall tight game mechanics. It's one of those games that's very well balanced in my opinion.

@Adrenaline1O1 I even liked Raiden in the game, even though i was disappointed we didn't get to play as Snake that long. His character was the best in 2, i don't know why he turned into a jackass in 4?

This definitely had the tightest game-play in all the series. I was hoping they'd improve the graphics in the HD collection but looking at this they still look amazing even today! :)

And yes i have heard of Secret of Mana. I haven't played it but i am interested in doing so. As for my favorite RPG, I have a big place in my heart for Final Fantasys 4,6 and 7. I also enjoyed Star Ocean TLH quite a lot. Is there any RPGs you would suggest to me?
