That was really brilliant! It's awesome to see how forensics skills can carry into contests such as these (was this a general talent contest or a forensics-specific talent contest?).

No matter what it was, you were both so good! If you had the chance to be Duo partners in high school, you would have done so well together (although I'm sure you both already knew that).

Thanks! This was just a general talent contest, we were actually the only act like ours. It was really fun! I wish we could have been duo partners for sure -- Kecia and her partner did qualify for nationals in duo a couple of times.

We both did! Kecia competed in duo and I competed in HI and storytelling (never together, regrettably, since we went to different schools), and since graduating we've both coached mostly interp for high school teams. Go speech!
