Am I the only person that really quite dislikes the R3 beta, so much so that its started to nudge me in the direction of not buying it? The game won't be forgotten. Sure it doesn't do anything revolutionary in its multiplayer but just because of the fact that Resistance 1 was such a phenomenal game and one of the first PS3 games it will have longevity. Most people are also getting it for its story as well so even if multiplayer gets boring fast, it will still be remembered for its unique and amazing atmosphere.

For those of you who couldn't realize it, I was comparing Resistance 3 to COD and BF since those are the two most popular upcoming games and more people are familiar with those two games rather than Resistance itself. I was talking about how Resistance 3 is similar to BF in the sense that it will take you some time to get used to it.

@OrcCommentaries The character models mostly, they look good in a picture or so, but when they move it looks incredibly stiff and they never move their guns, it really looks awkward. The sprinting is pretty terrible because you get a huge headache because of the motion blur, and have you tried climbing ladders? It looks so bad from both points of view lol. The gun animations are pretty good though.

Also, IG is toning down the motion blur so it will be a lot better. I have climbed ladder's and I do enjoy actually seeing my hands while climbing them instead of sliding up XD.. He took 2 mins to pretty much show off how he didn't plan out or even think about what he was doing and on top of that he doesn't really tell us a first impression of the game. He just talks about it in a pretty vague manner. This seems to be a bigger issue with commentators than anything but you know i doubt you see a difference seeing as introductions > quality to you.

@ArtymisFowl4 hhmm.. well i can't really tell you hehe, since i can't judge your opinion ofc. but the 2 games are quite diffrent, resistance 3 is more like resistance 1 then part 2. in part 2 you could wield only 2 weapons max, the movement speed/turning speed was more cod, and it didn't have as much of the dark atmosphere as part 1 and 3 have. HOWEVER it was still a good game with AWESOME bosses and great level design. imo they're all good, i have almost platinumed res 2 (1 trophy away)
