We went to Lombok with the rusty boat, but came back after 7 days at Gili Trawangan with the Bounty Boat. It is exspensive but it saves you time and you don't risk your life;-)

Absolutely no go. Don´t save money on transportation in Indonesia. I went on that boat from Bali to Lombok and it took us several hours, well more precise 8 hours.

If you go to Lombok, you should definately visit Gili Trawangan which is a small island close to Lombok. It is a true Paradis and it is peaceful!!

Hey, so I'm thinking of going to Lombok from Bali sometime in November this year. I'm looking to save money so is this public ferry really worth taking?? I mean how long did it take for you?? Is it bearable?
