George Best probably made twice as many goals as he scored. He is remembered as being selfish and failing to pass the ball - and he could be when on a dribbling run.. But he was a great passer of the ball too.

Nowadays it would be classed as two assists to Best. Why United didn't play more through him I don't know.

@PomBare the goalkeeping then was as today is, same good decisions same fails... the only change is that today goalkeepers play more with feet
