Kindsbach was the site of the American bombing of a clearly marked hospital train parked at the train station. After the bombing there were pieces of wounded soldiers all around. The bombers were dive bombers. Not high altitude bombers. The pilots knew exactly what they were doing.

Yep, every 15 minutes. The bells were melted for scrap in WWII but I don't remember when they were replaced.
