I got a 3 door 91 Saturn with a pretty hot (only 182,147 mi) engine that still puts out AT LEAST 190 HP. That's right baby, read it and weep. Any time you wanna go fella, any time.. one more thing to remember..I have done the quarter in 2.8. That's right, 2.8 minutes..

Its defiantly a v-8. and The Ecotec 4 cyl. has the capability to make 1600 whp solid. You can buy parts directly through the dealership to do this. The Ecotec comes in many forms, and is an awesome 4"banger". This is not an example of that craftsmanship.

@Bad92saturn no... It's not that simple. The ecotecs with 1600+ hp are specially built race motors, that have an Ecotec style block. You can't just bolt on parts to your Ecotec for ridiculous numbers like that. Even with the parts from GM for more power, will only take you to about 600 hp, if your lucky. Anything more than that, and most of your parts will be custom made. I think less than 5% of the original Ecotec motor remains in those crazy 4 cyl. motors you are talking about.

I do have a book that you can buy parts building the Ecotec to 1600hp. 1600hp is completely unusable on the street to begin with! It just sounds like an LS, that has been boosted in this video.......But ive been known to be wrong. I also know what you saying on the non bolt on parts...I made 310whp on an LKO. It took A LOT of work not bolt on's
