Dans la nuit du mardi 14 mai 1946, veille de la fête musulmane Leilat el Mawlid Ennabaoui Echarif (célébration de la naissance du prophète Mohamed), cinq personnes se réunissent dans un salon de coiffure au palace sahara au quartier Lamur l'actuel (El Hamri) chez Si Ahmed Al Mahaji.
