what's with all these "she doesn't compose her music"? the album inserts from her first few albums state she wrote the lyrics herself, and cowrote the actual music with other composer(s). i doubt she would start off co-composing and now not compose at all :/

I'm not sure it's a feature that defines her at all though. She's not (and probably never will be) referred to as a composer. Her music -by itself- is relatively bland. So no/yes she is/isn't a composer :s
