I love the police charger too. I first saw one on NCIS 3 years ago and now I've just got one too lol. I've just had mine signed up in the Dodge test car liveries as it was an unmarked highway patrol car. Any tips on driving and maintenance? I know the brakes were expensive lol
Your welcome sly and im far from rich im a regular guy with regular wage at end of day car costs me about £350 a month thats the loan insurance and running costs you pay that on most cars these days and im sure you would agree this isnt most cars
its annoying to think only rich people get cars like that. what about the working man that wants a decent car, works 10 hours a day for a cup of shut the fuck up lol. nice car anyways. :)
You got a great car! I'm a Sheriff's deputy in Montana, USA and I drive a 2009 Dodge Charger UC/ slick top. It's so much better than the boring Crown Vic. I bet everyone in the UK can't keep their eyes off of it! :)
Wow, Ive this around barton! its a beast! sounds immense, ive always been intrested in american muscle! this is a beut! You've gotta take me for a ride in it before you sell It! it would be the best ride of my life! better then my punto!, ile pay ya!
that car is a thing of beauty, god i wish i had the money to buy it off you, can i ask what sort of insurance you have to pay on her? If i win the lottery this week i'll be seeing you !!!
lol! I'm before you on winning the lottery, why is it always the old people that are not going to let it change there life win, personally I'd be out buying the most expensive motorhome, a sunseeker, country house and a couple of sweet cars & I'd keep the copcar... as for insurance its classed as classic american so under £500.00 fully comp
you never get away with that in usa,i would pull you over and have a word,as you cant have police showing on your car in usa, need to cover up police with magnet covers.anyway some forces i n usa do sell cars fully equiped, neeed to be lucky i guess.anyway nice motor, the charger will take over once ford stop making the crown vics after 2013.if ever you come to los angeles, ill show you around the station here.
Hey thanks, may take you up on that offer one day as we do visit the US, in fact was in Longbeach for a week lol!! me and the wife have a great interest in the US police force, it puts our lot to shame as they are too soft on the criminal's here, I was going to remove POLICE for SHERIFF but I've had no issues with it... I thought the charger was replacing the P71 anyway? as they are cheaper & better than the dated vics
yeah sheriff would look great. im really in love with your car - the charger in general tbh. i wish our cops were tough on crime like they are insteatd of handing it 16 years for murder.
im working on a model a charger at the moment. do you take your car to shows? the MPG must cost ya a fortune
I've been looking for a model charger cop car but nor found any good ones! yes I go to a few shows around the UK was at Billings & tatton park this year, I drive it everyday, fuel is not that bad at around 20mpg or better on a cruise (it has MDS so can run on 4 cylinders)
Hey man, I saw you today at the Hemswell market, I'm the guy who shook your hand and got you to start it up. Beautiful machine, and she purrs like a tiger. Good luck in selling it mate.
hello mate, thanks for the comments, it sure attracted a whole lot of attention, in the 7 hours I was there I don't think there was a single minute where there was not somebody checking it out lol!!
I guess you could call it a hobby? but its my daily drive here in the UK, I've had vipers, NSX's, 355, etc etc I was bored and wanted something rare but practical, Liked the P71 Fords but they all bent as hell due to years of hard work
umm at which point do you see dangermouse driving love? been on the road just over one and a half years in the UK, passed strict SVA test and just past MOT last week, Oh and inspected by local polich tech workshop and being stopped? but hey maybe they are all wrong and your right.. have fun policing the rest of Youtube
wow 17k thats less than i thought, im really surprised that you dont get any grief from the police. your car does say police all over it and it looks bloody real.
how did you get a us police dept to sell one to you with all the decals still on?
I was down in London with it a few months back whe nyou had all that snow, it was a nightmare in them narrow side streets lol!! as for costs? put it this way £17,000 and you can drive it away lol!! its for sale as I need a pick up for work :-(
I guess the same reason people drive old and worn P71 's lol!! personally I like american cars and unique cars, done the Vipers, Acura NSX F150 S/C F350 S/C etc etc figured this would be different, remember I'm from England so this is rare
