  • ........:)

  • the woman in the judge impressed me very much!! she was totally right!

  • It is sexist when he said that the three girls would succeed commercially better without the two other girls, but unfortunately, it's most likely the truth.

I think all of them sang really well. I would buy their CD be they ugly or not.

  • "I realise ive been a bit of a sexiest pig to be fair"

  • i want to join. please can i please

  • Can i join Cadenza, They're just so damn good!!! I'm a good singer and suffer from weight problems so surely i should just fit right in :D

  • One more thing, fair enough i did piss around, but i spent what say 13 hours helping putting up the set, didnt get shit for it, at all, i just got kicked because, i am pretty lighting, never done it before. i was doing it for ben.

Soo lets just say the story how it was, i came in at 9 on my own saturday, sorted out the sound with ben, unloaded a 50 ton lorry with ben putting things up, the whole set infact, then coming in sunday to put finished to it. to be kicked off on the first night.

  • I think you will find that alot of people gave up there time helping put up the set and if you hadnt messed about on the first night then maybe you would have received something for helping out !!

  • Also i think the whole set is a bit over the top there was loads of people helping not just you

  • I really didnt want anything, but i personally think it was over harsh, i never denied but i did put alot of time into it really.

the comments were below the belt granted. but like you said i am a little kid, fair do's.

    Sorry.

  • Let's just put this into context, as I was sat on the sound desk. I put around 150 hours in for this show, and having complaints from people in the audience about our lighting crew messing about *during* the show doesn't exactly make me want to say a big thank you. We spent nearly £10k on the show, and it was spoiled for some people by kids messing about on radios, who then think it is fun to post abuse on YouTube. So, in case you missed it, "thank you". Your contribution is, erm, noted.

  • andrea your shit! dump the fatty! she dsumped us selby youth quoir sucks cock getter betttroy!

  • she dumped u cos u were crap at lighting u just messed about, think she made right choice on that one n the dick part in your name is about right!!!!!!

  • by the way little jacko i do know who u are n your mate tobi

  • that isnt even jacko lololololololololol

and maybe i am just a jumped up kid who tinks its funny to post comments and runaway, so what? if your a mature person, why retaliate?

  • There's nothing stopping the three younger girls forming a separate trio. But I don't think they would be as good without the two older ladies. I'd like to hear how they sound as a trio, and I'd also love to hear how the other ladies sound as a duo. The beauty of their act (apart from obvious talent) is the bond they share. I wonder if they would have the same magic without all five members. I suspect not.

    I WANT MORE MORE MORE!!!!!

  • As my missus is one of the older ladies, thank you!

When Cadenza normally perform a concert, they mix solos, duets, etc with whole group performances, as all the girls are talented! It sounds different with less than five, but sounds amazing as two or three, too. They are a team and play to their strengths!

Behind the scenes, rehearsals are 50% singing, 40% laughing, 10% eating cake!

Shame you don't live locally - they are doing a concert in our home town, Selby, on 28 June.

  • It's not about talent! IT'S ABOUT WHO CAN MAKE MONEY FOR THE COWELL EMPIRE! MONEY MONEY MONEY! YAHAA! AND MORE MONEY!! (That's what I want!)

  • I like the thin blonde!

  • the other two should of said to the others and forced them to change - they would of have done better. That would of been true loyalty the other two giving up their dreams for their friends

  • What happens when you take two parts out of a five part harmony, particularly when the two voices are the biggest in the group? The three young girls are very talented, but you can't drop nearly half a group and expect it to sound good with only 30 minutes' notice. The melody and main harmony would have almost entirely disappeared! They came together, they left together with heads held high. They did the right thing. If the younger girls want to go in next year as a trio, we'll support them.

  • i love this song it helped me through a really hard time in my life, yeh there are 2 big girls on there and i love the fact they dont care and they got up there and sung there hearts out, so bollocks to all the pig headed ignoramus as i dont see you on stage singing.

  • They were great and they should have been in the semis, we are all proud of you from the sing choir xxx

  • cadenza debio quedar en las finalistas,,, son de las mejores... scala va a ganar,.,.,

  • Miss. Sharplezzz woz wikedd! and da rest wer brilliant 2 we all miss u in our skoool!!!!! fabulous

    Ur Ex Student

  • This is morally wrong, but thinking realistically, Piers was sort of right.

I mean, he wasn't saying they're bad singers, he just meant that realistically, the two women who were older and heavier weren't gonna get the group as much recognition.

I mean, three beautiful young girls with amazing talent, that's an attention grabber.

The others might turn people away at first, and might lessen their chances. :/

Obviously after the show that's not the case, but before, it probably would have been.

  • There are no ugly fatties here - just a pig headed ignoramus who is proving how little he knows about anything. If you'd like to insult my wife and her best friend again, perhaps you'd be brave enough to come and see us at Selby Town Hall on 28 June? You can get a slap from three young beauties then, too.

  • i'm sorry but who are you to say that? i sing in a choir with all 5 of the ladies concerned, we're all friends and we all love singing together, cadenza is just a few of the amazing people we have around us here and you can't slag them off for being brilliant, the "ugly older fatties" as you say (who are gorgeous btw) were there to provide the 5 part harmony that cadenza sing in, they are fabulous.

  • the thin blonde is hot !!

  • totally agree,amanda too is....

  • close your eyes and listen ... beautiful harmonies ... this is a talent show not a beauty pageant .. and all five are stunning anyway .. good for your girls.

  • How can you say they were ok voices...of course they are entertaining..don;t be a philistine. I actually used to go to school and sing in a choir with the two "older" members of this group and thinks its great that they've had the balls to do something like this...more than most perhaps!?!?

Good luck Julia and Andrea for the rest of the competition...

  • i disagree with simon, its not loyalty, its pressure. typical dreamgirls scenario when the lead singer gets replaced

  • You missed the whole story - Simon actually asked for them to think about someone else singing the solo. The girls decided to perform the whole song together, with no solo. That's loyalty and good on them, although a backstage catfight would have made better TV! Clever editing has made it look like they were told to ditch the older two altogether when they came back, but that is not what happened. Reality TV is often not as real as it all seems...

  • you mean that piers never said that they should get rid of the older 2? anyway what i meant is that the pressure is being put on the young girls by the older women... its simon calling what they did loyalty when he expected what? for the three young ones to tell the others to fuck off? i doubt it

  • Piers did (and was blasted by Amanda and the audience for saying so), but Simon was the one who asked them to rethink the solo. Simon didn't suggest that the three younger ones should go it alone. The offer was for someone else to take the spotlight, and rather than do that, they chose to stick together and sing together. They were give two options: keep or change the soloist. They picked a third option, which is why Piers said that had ignored their advice. And it paid off!

  • Just to add, your Dreamgirls analogy doesn't work. Jennifer Hudson's character was replaced by someone with less personality to make her more acceptable to white music buyers. Jennifer Hudson's character remained the stronger singer - and she won an oscar for the part!

  • forget about the details, the simple fact of the matter is that the general suggestion was put forward that part A of the group should move (partially or altogether) out of the spotlight to make way for part B of the group

my dreamgirls analogy works fine, because what i'm talking about isn't who won in the end or who had more personality, but the specific "you can't do this to me i'm your friend scene"

  • Piers's suggestion was dismissed - the challenge put to them (which doesn't show onthe edited version) was to replace the soloist, not to dump the two older girls. Rather than let this divide them - I am sure that any of the younger girls could have done the solo - they stuck together to be judged as a group. That's loyalty, not pressure.

I wish you could see the unedited version we saw in the theatre - I am sure your view would change.

  • that doesnt change anything for me... the general suggestion was put forward and they even acknowledged the whole idea later...

the only way i would believe it to be loyalty would be if they were all put in separate rooms and given a contract to sign and refused... whereas here they've got the whole audience which knows whats going on, plus their friends looking at them with the "you're my friend, aren't you" look on their faces - do you see what i mean?

  • We'll have to agree to disagree - I honestly believe that I was in that situation with all my friends, we'd have the balls to stand by each other, not let our friendship crumble in the blind quest for fame. They were realistic about their chances in the competition, and were expecting criticism - a healthy dose of realism that so few seem to exhibit!

True friends stick together - and they probably came out of this stronger. That's a lesson a lot of others should learn.

  • obviously i'm in no position to say i'm right, all i can say is i don't believe it. objectively the safest assumption is to acknowledge the possibility that simon and anyone who got caught up in applauding their decision may have jumped to a conclusion and not seen the likelihood of some peer pressure being exerted.

i am sure you and your friends would stick together and would like to think the same of myself and my own friends, but like simon says - loyalty in situations like this is very rare

  • I think Amanda had a Shotgun under the table.

  • I've heard these girls in real life and I can tell you hand on heart that they didn't come across as well as they do live. The tone, and quality of the girl who sang the lead vocals is awesome, and in fact the two juicy ladies have the strongest voices by far!! Very talented, shame it didn't come across just how talented they are?!!

  • i agree their voices are more vibrant when all of them sing together but they're not very entertaining.

  • You should have been in the audience - they went nuts when the girls performed, in a way they had not done for any other act. We (the audience) were told to let the audience know what we thought - look at people's faces behind Simon during the singing (including the solo). Everyone was spellbound!

  • beautiful voices

  • They totally accepted more boring people.

  • but they got acceptet more non talent people, have you seen earlyer videos? they was saying yes to noobs and this girls are not noobs :P

  • incredibly boring.

  • *yawn*

  • they've got ok voices.. but they're not really entertaining..
