The Lion seal was by the Jews; but after the Arabs conquered Babylonia the seal was only used by Geonim and Exilarchs. Later it would be adopted by Christian Leaders in Europe.

To go over, as you posted, his name means "royalty" and he has an oil drum with a lion seal. By the symbolism we can safely say he is Christian, Jewish or (as I think) both.

Tis amazing how easy you can point out the truly shallow fanboys too deep in their Ryu/Akuma shit. Hakan is probably one of the far more original additions to the roster. He's the first of his kind to appear in a fighting game, uses a unique fighting style combined with over-the-top moves and a non-cliched reason for being in the tournament.

I am very dissappointed. hakan's character design look cool. I like the design but his moves are so f***ing goofy, of course street fighter has had strange characters in its games e.g blanka, dhalsim, e.honda, necro, twelve etc etc but their moves were never goofy. For goodness sake even when he does his ultra and squeezes his opponent out you cant hear the "woomp" sound that clowns make when they slip on a banana peel.
