technically they are so fantastic - so quick and together it's super - there's something about the way they dance though that is very small - they don't engage the audience or draw them in enough or something - they're not as far reaching. Technically they are far superior, in my mind, to say Johanna and Micheal - but there's something about the way Johanna in particular is able look to the audience and really make you part of their dancing that this couple doesn't have.

usually professional dances have a lot of style in them so it obviously will not be a pure samba, the style is just there for entertainment, and i don't really like this.... i really did like max better but then again maybe when they dance for a little longer together they might become a lot better

I have commented to that effect also. Max is a much more compatible partner. Yulia is still the greatest (in my mind) but the lack of chemistry and choreography is making her shine just a bit less now in this new partnership.

She really is! She commands such a strong presence on the dance floor that it must be hard to be the guy dancing with her (whomever he may be at a given time (ex: maxim, riccardo,etc.) She's a lot to keep up with.
