  • Wow, you are really good. I'm trying out Sculptris and it's much easier than zbrush but i'm just not sure I can be as good as that :/ (PS I suck at scuplting in real life)

  • who else thought of Grover?

  • could you make a tutorial on how to model hands?

  • @CloudandZack1st I could make another video focused on just the hands. Is there anything specific you'd want to see, or should I do the general workflow? This satyr vid shows the overall idea, even though its a year old I'd still do things in this sort of manner if I were to do it all in sculptris.

  • @MrWaaaaargh The hands is all i need, really the fingers, but the hands are with the fingers, but the fingers are the hardest part of modeling to me.

  • no offense but that's not how a real satyr looks. they have goat legs and the rest of there bodies are human with really curly hair except they have small horns

  • How would you "Retopologize" your mesh?

  • @xXAcrayXx Check out a program called Topogun, its a bit of software specifically designed for retopo-ing meshes. Zbrush has tools to do this as well, and I've seen people use blender.

  • Superior work MrWaaaaaargh. you've got talent. and have really encouraged me to try pushing my vision alittle further. I am not sure how to mask yet and sorry if someone has already asked you but for example when you r working on the hands only how are other parts of you model "masked" ghosted?

  • @airbloit If you hold down H while clicking the left mouse button, you can draw a rectangle. Anything inside that will be hidden, and won't be effected by the sculpting tools. To unhide, just hit ctrl-h, and all your geometry should become visible again.

  • possible to convert em to be used as meshes in UDK?

  • @SkirataClanLeaderAti You would need to retopologize the model before it would be usable in UDK or any other engine. This sculpt would only act as a sort of template for the game mesh and source for the normal maps.

  • lo manejas muy bien pero hacer a satan es un insulto...

  • @elcartelproducciones no es satan -_- ....

  • I'm not worthy. I always find what you guys do on this program frightening. I wish I had the patience and knowledge to do something like model.

  • i wish i was that good at scupltris

  • That thing has no penis.

  • Thats really awesome. I downloaded Scupltris, but its kinda hard for me. How did you learn it?

  • the horns surface looks loki an octopus tentacles

  • Awesome sculpturing nice vids but lack of sounds and musics

  • this can be exported to 3d max and be animated??????????

  • @bolhuis

    Yes.

  • fucking hell.

    o_o

    That is stunning.

  • stop it at 0:40 WTF?! CHICKEN ? :DD and at the end ! WOOOOOOW!!

  • that's great man , were you using reference pics or something ?

  • jajaja you fucking rock dude!!

  • when nothing(!) is masked, but seperate objects are present, HOW do you quick mask one object out (as you did with the eyes)?? I don't like the option of Ctrl+MouseDrag.. is there any faster way of maskin whole object at once?

  • @braini0088 Try hitting ctrl-d to deselect everything, and then click on whatever separate object you want "active".

  • @MrWaaaaargh you're simply the BEST! thank you soo much!

I would really appreciate to see more of your good works :)

  • dat ass.

  • That was Awesome!

  • Soo awesome.

  • awesome...

  • Lol! At first i thought it was a man because of the torso. Then when you were sculpting the legs i thought it was a frog. Then when you were sculpting the head I just didnt know what it was and i still dont. XD

  • Love your head and face detail, but your digigrade goat legs need some more reference. :D Good overall though.

  • This is top-notch modelling, congratulations !

  • your model has arms of a women lol

  • how do u do to cut it in half

  • is a satyr, has to have an erect penis (seriously)

  • This is really nice work man. Any idea on how to make a good model from Sculptris to game ready? So it's Poly's are low?

  • @HelpMyFellowPeople Not in sculptris. Make a low res mesh (best apps are 3dCoat or silo as i figured out so far but any major program like maya, cinema,blender,zbrush,.. does), detail information and paint will be seperated in different maps that are just graphic files. This is best done in the Program you wish to for ex. to animate it cause import export action can cause some trouble.

  • Fabulous!

  • God, all that detail. 2 and a half hours you say?

  • You've created a MONSTAH!

    Woah that's amazing.

  • DAT ASS

  • lmao his buttcheeks

  • There is another way of doing fingers in Sculptris. First, you mask out the areas where the fingers should be on the hand. Invert it. Use the grab tool and set it to 'global'. Pull out the fingers. Inflate them gently if they are too thin. Use the flatten tool on low strength to flatten out planes to get rid of bulginess. Then smooth the planes gently. This should give a good basis for fingers. Oh, don't forget to un-set 'global' for the grab tool after you use it. Could be a problem if not.

  • Hey how can I protrude the limbs out of the body?

  • lol@ass

  • Beautiful work.

  • that's disgusting!! Nice job! ;D

  • how do you hide parts of the body ?

  • Where can I get Sculptris?

I'm currently building a design/development PC, so far, software wise, will only be using Maya and 3DS Max, but i'm very impressed with Sculptris and you're work with it!

  • @CravingGibbon

It's a free program. They have a website. Google it.

  • Ily

  • fantastic model!!! you inspired me

  • fantastic model!!! you inspired me

  • Awesome work! How do you generate the eyeballs? I just got this, and I've seen a few vids but I don't know how to do that yet.

  • @TheRazorKitten

Hit the new sphere button, and then click add object. That should allow you to add either a single centered sphere, or a pair of mirrored spheres, depending on where you move "cage" that appears.

  • @MrWaaaaargh how did you separate the body parts?

  • какую программу используют?

    what program to use?

  • shorcut for the size brush?

  • @ramsterzone

I hit the spacebar and then click-drag the mouse near the size slider.

  • INCREDIBLEEEEEEE

  • Really really nice model. Good for getting an idea for what tools to use for finer details.

  • Pretty nice sculpt man, keep up the good work ! :)

  • awesome job, inspired me to do something similar

  • really good job ;)

  • cool stuff bro
