easy and fast way to make rain is to use "billboard sprites" ("doom enemies"-effect). Waves on water adjust for rain.

Why would you look up a video about graphic effects in HL2 when you can't watch it? Just so you know, you can't listen to graphic effects so there is no point in looking this video up. @SkullRaven Perhapse you didn't get why it got my attention: It's got a nice track playing.

The utility looks for ambient tracks, like Aes Dana or Jemset. Not the visual content, the audio.

The youtube site is blocked at the offices, so using a proxy only allows comments and ripping. What's your problem anyway?

really creates a nice effect. Really is something I'd like to see the source developers add one day. And source is pretty well known for having good graphics but still being nice to computers <:). So I think they'd develop this in a more fps-effecting way. But it still does look VERY awesome!!!

Water wouldn't shoot off slopes like that as it is adhesive and sticks to other surfaces. It the drops just fell off densely from the awning, it would look a lot more realistic.
