Id hate to see that place go. It is my favorite vacation spot on Earth. Id suffer a hundred storms like that for one good day in Maine. Great food, great people.
Yes it is Driftwood and I was just down there getting some vidz of this storm "apr 16 2007" even bigger storm. This one accually took the Driftwood sign right off the roof. Will post more soon. :)
Thanks for the reply, I look forward to the coming posts. I gather your a fire fighter or other emergency worker. I was a volunteer fire fighter in Pennsylvania for about 20 years and I know how mean inland storms can be. Coastal storms must be scary. My best to you and yours. Maine Rules!
Driftwood. Yeah... I thought that house looked familiar. I vacation somewhere up the road. Guess our house there might not be there in a couple weeks.
Driftwood Inn is epic, I wish there were storms like this when I am up there.
