  • This guy sounds like a Steely Dan guitar player.

    Anyone else think so?

  • Wow! I'd like to use a different word but my brain is still trying to process the awesomeness of your playing and tone. You sold me on the axe fx and you have great skills!

  • @KillAna4ever Thanks a lot!

  • i bet you're Buz Mcgrath's dad :P

  • Hi! do you think the Marshall 20/20 has power enough for live gigs?

  • owner of a lonely heart! Woo!

  • Textbook playing

  • All I can say is that this is textbook playing. Wonderful !!!!!!

  • Reminds me of Frank Gambale.

  • I can't beleive how the jazz sound is awesome...

  • His last name would be Ouch-Bach if he was Brit or Yank.

  • Im amazed at how he plays the guitar while its still right behind him on the wall

  • thats a really neat arrangement of Jobim's Wave. really cool

  • Nice! I see you got yourself some backing tracks from Jam Track Central :D

  • Does anyone know where to find the backing track/instrumental to the Pink Floyd 2:14- ?????

  • That fingerstyle part was insanely awesome. Well, all of it was awesome, but especially that part.

  • Hi Peter(Same name as me) I am half german and live in England would you say i was better ordering it from g66 and getting it sent to me here or my relatives in Germany in which case i'd pick it up next time I was on holiday, thanks in advance :)

  • Sweet! I'm ordering my Ultra this week!

  • w/ matching glasses! Great job! :)

  • Your playing is a joy to listen to. Thank you for the inspirational sounds.

  • Alex hutchings!!!!! good stuff

  • Can you please tell me that song you played at 5:44? I just can't get to remembering the name of it, thanks.

  • @IthrowdownI "Every Breath you take"

  • @IthrowdownI At 5:44 it sounds alot like the beat of Titanium from david guetta

  • is this the buesjamtracks larry carlton backing track?

  • u played some of the parts for Shine On You Crazy Diamond a lil wrong. imma see if i can get a cover up. but its REAL nice

  • @JaYmAdSeXy172 I know the original solo and I still like it, but for this vid I decided to play a different solo in the Gilmour style.

  • @HotImprovisor oooooooooh XD sorry. i ddnr know u was doing that purposly

  • That looks like a cuntz guitar?

  • You rule dude!

  • @UncleJoey12 So how do you like the Mark V ? my friend a metal guitarist wants one so bad to replace his 5150 and 1960a marshall cab. What can you tell him about the Mark v and the extreme distorted mode or channel?

  • sounds like gambale

  • so it's a rip-off from the ibanez rg550 series... exactly same colors too..

  • Is this the tim and erik show?

  • I love your playing style, Peter...I just picked up a Ultra. Can't wait to lock myself up for a week

  • Echt saugeil gespielt Kollege...

Hey what jazz song is that at 3: 17

I've heard before but don't know the name.

Killer playing by the way : )

  • @prsdiezel

    Antonio Carlos Jobim's "Wave"

  • Great playing, do you have a link to the 1st backing track you are playing too ??

Sounds great to fool around with...

  • @jets2958

Search for Bluesguitarjamtracks and then look for the "Larry Carlton Style" Playback.

  • Pretty nice guitar, I'll keep the link in mind.

On another note, you are a very great player and versatile! Keep up the good playing!

  • mm lovely gear..just bought one online..cant wait

  • Is that a "Yes" song played at 04:40?

  • "owner of a lonely heart" by Yes

  • That second song reminds me of something!!!!

  • a petrucci's song...

  • Yeah, it's called Pink Floyd's "shine on you crazy diamond" my friend.

  • Love your playing (especially the track at 3:16) but all the tones are remarkable and you have a cool yellow axe..What stereo amp are you using???? Thx pete

  • nice BOSSA NOVA chops, pal.

    Keep it up!

  • what guitar is it ??

    looks like an ibanez pgm

  • You might want to look in the video description. There's a link ;-)

  • you are a really versatile player i really admire your skills! great video it tottlay inspired me!

  • Thanks a lot!!!

  • I bet you can't hold a guitar straight.

  • Why do you bet that ?

  • patricksaint1, you talk a big game, but I noticed you have no videos of yourself playing posted up on your account. There's a difference between no shit and bullshit.

  • Sorry tattooed,,,,,, I dont wanna yell at you if you are retarded. I have a bleeding heart for people with less skills. But if youre not born stupid, and its just something that were creeping up on you, I simply ask: WTF do you mean by your comment??????

  • bleeding heart for people with less skills? you should realize that talking shit like that and not having something to back it up just makes people think the only thing you "sling" is shit.

  • What he means is that you talk big for someone who doesn't have any videos. I'm surprised you didn't even get what he was trying to say.

His comment made more sense than your reply.

  • Superb contribution, friend. Any other nuggets of wisdom you wish to impart on the uneducated guitarslingers?

  • k see it was awesome an i loved it but then you got to around 4:4o sum mins...

  • finally someone that makes frank gambale look like a stud! XD

  • Frank Gambale is a fantastic player, I learned a lot by listening to him...

  • Australia For the Win.

  • awesomeee

  • Can someone tell me what the difference between the standard and the ultra is? I mean I dont have the extra 500$ for the ultra...so I want to know if the added features are worth the extra 500$...

And...if I get the standard model...which footcotroller is best for it?

  • Ultra Advantage

The Axe-FX Ultra utilizes a faster processor with more memory than the standard Axe-FX. This allows the unit to run more instances of effects simultaneously. The Ultra also adds an arpeggiator, synth effects, vocoder, looper, multi-band compressor, ring modulator, quad chorus, diffuser, resonator, crossover and more complex delay and pitch based effects.

    check out the liquid-foot controller

  • reminds me of porno music that i listen to

  • What kind of porn do you watch?! "Shredders Paradise, featuring the girls of the rock band Vixen"

  • @CapsuleShapedEscape Larry Carlton is all Pr0n

  • by the way, don't worry about that it happens with me all the time ijaeieuaiaejeiauea ^_^

  • yep... carlos jobim... that's a beatifull song... and with you playing was just amazing, i'm brazilian, and now you made me proude of been brazilian thanks... ^_^

by the way, you are one of the best guitar players on you tube... did you play in some band? cuz man if you don't... you realy should... i thought you were brazilian jejeje... lol

    ^_^

    :D

  • meeeuuuuu vc é brasilero né? fala verdade...

se for toca MUITO.... de boa cara

    that's a brasilian song isn't it? at 3:16

  • Sure, it's "Wave" by Antonio Carlos Jobim. One of my favorites of Brazilian music...

  • The playing is really awesome, but that tone is horrible.

  • who's this hunk?

  • YEAH I KNOW!!!^^

  • wow.., this unit is amazing, and your playing is fantastic!!!

  • So using a power amp is not necessary to run Aaxe fx right? I have a Tech 21 amp. So can I just simply plug it into the amp and play?

  • Yes, you can use the Axe-Fx before the amp, but you should turn off the speaker cab simulations and maybe the power amp simulations (this can be done globally for all presets of the Axe-Fx).

  • Die backings sind ja auch so geil^^selber gezimmert?...five stars!

  • dude that kicks ass XD

  • it's a ibanez rg550 dessert sand yellow i think dont quote me but yeah sumfin like that

  • Both yellow guitars are custom made. The bodies are shaped like Ibanez but they are shortscale and te guitar on the wall is a fretless instrument.

  • yeah...dood...you should have used that other guitar hanging on the wall on the right...that would have looked much better!!!

    ...good playing tho...

  • awesome! except for that yellow thing you're playing... :)

  • ye whats up with that color mate? its very..yellow

  • Gefällt mir sehr gut. Sehr musikalisch und vielseitig!! Viele Grüße

  • 5 Sterne was sonst ;)

    Great stuff Peter!

  • Great playing man, thanks for posting! :)
