Wow, how long did it take you to render this? You set it to what, 200 fps? Would have taken me 10 minutes to render 1 second. O.O

My computer always crashes if I try to render higher than 30fps because it takes so long :(

The music and general level design (taking bits and pieces from Portal, TF2, and Half-Life 2) make this an extremely uncomfortable video to watch. I don't mean that in a bad way, though. The map's spartan layout creates, in my head, a lot of ample back-story... and most of it is simply frightening.

That's the thing - it's nothing specific. I suppose the best way to put it is that this map, its design, and the music don't betray a hint of rhyme or reason for who created this compound, why, who the person is, etcetera. People are inherently afraid of what they don't know or understand, and the the map/music exudes a strong not-understandable vibe for me, which makes it uncomfortable and frightening. But don't worry, I realize this is an abstracted jump map; I just think about this stuff. :)
