THANK YOU so much for posting!! I NEVER thought i would see this again!! i used to watch this with my mom n dad when i was little..r.i.p mom and dad.. THIS show brings back those GREAT, SWEET Memories!! Thank youuuu!!
I think it's the Judds that sing this song....I would always cry when I heard this song, I was in a similar situation and it would help me get through it...
@eighteen18jts "The Torkelsons" aired Saturday nights (then later changed to Sunday nights) during the 1991-92 season and was canceled after only 1 season. Its spinoff "Almost Home" aired during the spring of 1993 on Saturday nights and then was canceled. However, more people know about the show because it aired in reruns on Mon-Fri early evenings weekend afternoons on the Disney channel (since it was produced by the disney company) but was taken off at the end of summer of 1997,
Because Elizabeth Poyer played Ruth Ann and Benj Thall played Steven Floyd in the pilot, the scene with them in it were changed to feature the new actors, Anna Slotky and Aaron Michael Metchick.
The scene of the family running from the kitchen table to the window was changed to show the group cheering at the table. The scene with Dorothy Jane and Riley Roberts sitting on the porch with the kids behind them was changed to Millicent and the kids sitting in Dorothy Janes room and she rocks them from side to side. The two actors who were replaced changed to feature the new actors. Millicent talking to Dorothy Jane on her bed changed to Millicent taking Chuckie Lee's shirt off.
Ernie Lively was a cast member only in the pilot so his scene is entirely removed. They add a scene before Mary Sue's credit to show her flinging food on her face. The scene with Steven Floyd chasing Chuckie Lee changes to show Dorothy Jane and Millicent enter the room where the other kids are in the background. And the scene of the family at the end of the intro is changed.

@bayou432 Oh wow only 1 season ran in reruns daily on disney channel? So what? They cycled through the entire season in 2 to 3 weeks?

@eighteen18jts I should clarify what I said about 1991-92 and spring of 1993. NBC carried the show for those seasons.
