naw the fanbase has always been there. baseball is the hardest sport to be a fan of down here because of the snowbird population from boston and new york. it was literally embarassing to be a rays fan for all this time. and last year when the motto for our team was no lead is safe, it really says something about why go see a losing team. we can hang with those guys now and at long last we can come out of our shell

We Oriole fans gladly welcome any team that can beat the Red Sox or the Yankees. I'd like to see the Rays win the AL East, just so Boston or New York doesn't.

I think the Rays represent all that is good in the MLB. Think about it, the Rays have a chance to topple the evil two headed monster in the Red Sox and Yankees. Best of luck to the Rays now and forever, I would welcome a Rays championship without a doubt

The Ray's are an amazing story and I really hope we get to meet you guys in the playoffs because even though the Angels are playing well I think the Sox and Rays are the top 2 teams in the AL.

As far as the Cubs. Rays swept them, Sox swept them at home. They will choke as usual.
