@Baderaaj that is tough to say...this bird was a bout 13 lbs and took about 3 hours...but it depends on size of bird, heat of the oven, type of oven, stuffed or not stuffed, temperature of bird before cooking etc... So I cannot give estimates like that because people will take the advice, then mess up their turkey and blame me...understand? and..with a thermometer an approximate time is useless..let the thermometer tell you when it's done..
hey chef one thing i found is that if you dont use a thermometer and you wait for the little button, since it will be dry you can inject it with butter, thats always what i've done and its tasted fine :)
This is a simple method for cooking a turkey, feel free to add herbs or other seasoning to the skin before cooking...the point here is to make sure the bird is not overcooked.
not enough information how long it's going to stay in the oven at least an approximation
