BTW, sadly, it's not my iPhone. But, I am planning to get an iPod Touch

It's the 2.0 firmware, but i still don't know if i have to keep 2.0.1 or upgrade to 2.0.2, that's where the X stands for :)

what I mean is, how do you get this on the iPhone? The iPhone doesn't have an installer

You have to jailbreak the iPhone, jailbreaking is allowing the iPhone to install 3rd party applications, like this one.
