First I would tell the store manager that I do security, show him/her my licence and ask if they have a LPO in the store, because I see someone stealing from their shop, and if not would they like me to arrest the person. I used to work Loss Prevention. We'd arrest the kids, and the parents would need to pay restitution, because they're liable. Even if they're not into it.

Fuck the parents whatever were they thinking they don't even look poor so I have no idea why they are doing this. The mother is sowing the seeds of crime and itchy fingers for her children, one day they too will steal and perhaps something big this time, like fund-embezzlement or diamond rings. Why are people afraid to confront the person stealing, Like I don't understand some people. People are so afraid of other people.
