Idina and Eden's portrayal of Maureen are both my favorites and good. Eden's portrayal was more of a stronger Maureen compared to Idina. While, Idina's portrayal was more ,i guess, seductive (can't find the right word) which Eden lacked imo. Tracie on the other hand, was just so perfect. My favorite Joanne. :>

I don't know which one I like more. Idina's is fantastic and yes, she was the original but that doesn't mean Eden was terrible. I think she made the character into her own which is a positive thing and her performance could quite possibly match up to Idina's. Everyone has their own style, everyone has their own way of doing things. Eden's wasn't terrible. I personally enjoy both equally. Idina has an extremely powerful voice, as does Eden. I love both equally =)

@RowdyCowgirl0601 As a former actress I can say this, when you are acting, you are not you. A good actor/actress throws themselves into a role and you become the other person. A homophobic person can play a gay just by switching themselves off and becoming another person. Just like the people kissing/groping/etc can be in a relationship and not have it bother them. It CAN be awkward but you get over it fast :)

Tracie Thoms is amazing. Eden Espinosa is a great performer but my favorite Maureen is Idina Menzel...hands down. She throws herself over to the character and doesn't come back until it's a wrap. Sorry if you don't agree, but that's your problem.
